Flame Cafe — Restaurant in Sacramento

Great quality and affordable delicious dishes! I was eager to try out this spot when I read some reviews and saw photos. They serve boba and all the dishes I enjoy plus more that I don't typically see or order at an American Asian cuisine resturant. I loved everything I got and plan to come more often! Their prawn truffle noodles were delicious!! And the pig intestine was so simple and tasty. The roasted pig foot was IT for me, you don't get that everywhere and I was excited to get it! It was moist, tender and cooked evenly. No complaints here, I'll be back!

I went back and got their thai tea with the iced 🐻 NOT a fan, their was too much ice and it tasted watered down. The cucumber salad was also not it for me, just my preference. I really wished they had more steamed vegetables and maybe even some fruit to help balance out the oily/greasy foods they serve there. Hopefully they can add...

Plenty of parking in the plaza. Hand sanitizer available at the counter by the door. Clean interior. They show movies without audio on the TV and play covers of popular songs.

Service was okay, got seated right away but it seemed understaffed with the one server. The server forgot my drink, so I had to ask them. It was an iced tea, but it was barely cold even after mixing.

Takoyaki was decent; the insides were fluffy and hot even when the outside had cooled a bit.

Baked black pepper chicken with spaghetti was lacking in flavor. I could taste garlic in every bite of the noodles, but what they really needed was to add some salt.

Good: Loved the uniqueness of the baked dishes, I got a tom yum spaghetti and the texture was great of the noodles and the seafood The french toast was so tasty too! Not too sweet but the perfect amount of flakiness The popcorn chicken was very tender and crunchy The cucumber was refreshing! Nice to catch up with people, very simple place and good vibes Super cute bear that you can add to any drink! Not just the ones with it in it

Bad: Super long wait time, about 30 min for a group of 6 and also 30 min to get our food after ordering
