Since the pandemic, I have been using the online ordering, which is very convenient I'd you are paying with a card. However, last night, 12/30/2021, I wanted to pay with cash so I went and placed my order in person. When I got there, there were a couple ppl waiting for orders, and about 3-4 dine in guests. I placed my order, a family pack with 4 charburgers, fries, and a salad, plus a salted caramel shake. The lady gave me a buzzer and I stepped outside to wait in my car with my husband. I watched as two guests who were ahead of me get buzzed to get their orders, so I went back in to wait. And wait... and wait. I noticed a bag on the counter being packed that looked like my order, and a shake next to the bag. Ok cool. I'm next. NOT! I see the bag get finished, and they call out a name and another customer walked up, they gave her the bag, plus another they were packing that was next to where the food was coming out. But the shake was still sitting on the counter. Wow did they really just give my order to another customer? I watch the 2 workers workers discuss what just happened, and one says to the cooks that she needs them to remake an order. Yup. They gave my order to the wrong person. I watch as 4 more customers who ordered AFTER me get their food. Finally, the girl brings me my shake, that's been sitting there for 15 mins, she apologizes for the mistake, and gives me 2 coupons for free charburgers and says it will be a little while longer. I say no problem, I understand things happen. I'm thinking wow good CS to give me the coupons. Today, I look at the coupons, and see that they expire 12/31/2021. Wow really? So basically the coupons were an empty gesture since I'm not going to eat there 2 nights in a row. They weren't that busy, so I don't understand what happened. It seems like when you order ahead, you have priority over ppl ordering in person, not just here, but at most restaurants, which I would have done, if there was an option to pay in person. I'm a pretty easy going, understanding person who doesn't usually complain, but it kinda bugged me that she gave me coupons that were basically already expired as an apology for making me wait as long as i did because they gave away my order. I would have been happy with just an apology, and an explanation. Hey, maybe throw in an extra shake to my order. I hate to leave a bad review for one bad experience, when prior to this I've had good ones, but I had to put this out there. Tl;DR- order ahead for priority service and possibly a free order, otherwise u may be...
Read moreHELLO EVERYONE. last Wednesday I ordered the habit from this location and while me and my sister were eating our burgers she found a banana in it. weird. A banana, in a burger, I didn’t ask for neither did she. I tried contacting habit and actually did it multiple times which made me late on one of the days to work. I just think that’s horrible customer service for somebody to mess up on. It’s not like it was a french fry or something it’s a banana which somebody could have multiple allergies to. Like my sister legitimately could’ve died she put the whole thing in her mouth and when she bit down she said it was crunchy so she spit it out like that is absolutely disgusting. I am so. I don’t even have words like I am just irritated and it’s like the fact that you guys really really want me to come in and make an issue. like please just give me my money back because that was disgusting. My sister had to go through that. like now that I think about it more and more and more it’s just making me more and more agitated as I go on life so something needs to happen and I need I NEED to get my money back For that disgusting mistake. im not even asking for The full total, which was actually like $30 when in reality my meal was only 17 but I had to pay for shipping. it was also actually more expensive to do it from the app Rather than DoorDash but I did it because I thought i was getting points And they don’t even do points. yup yall real funny habit. Yeah, I want my money back for the disgusting banana in my sister’s burger that I couldn’t complain at the restaurant for because you guys delivered it to me. I don’t know if Someone put a banana in my sisters burger because they were mad I ordered like an hour before closing but if that’s the issue I really really REALLY want whoever Did that to my sister’s burger pulled aside and talk to you about how they do their job because they do a horrible job if they’re allowing bananas to get in burgers. And actually I want my sisters full mail to be refunded because I did pay extra by ordering from the app and I’m mad because I never got points for it so yeah if I need to go in today because you guys don’t want to reply to this than, Hello, you’re gonna see me. Because two things I don’t play about is my MONEY...
Read moreWell I used to be a big fan of the habit for having fresh burgers my previous two experiences in the last five days have made me no longer a fan, after 30 years of restaurant experience 15 of those being in restaurant management his behavior on my previous to experiences I've made me lack the desire to return again. 5 days prior to my previous experience I ordered the patty melt which was ready when I arrive for my online order but then I had to wait 15 minutes for the green beans that went along with it and by the time I ate my burger it was cold, I picked this up during Peak business hours while this manager was sitting in the dining room training while orders and quality were suffering. On my most recent experience 5 days later I arrive to be told my order wasn't ready yet and that I needed to get out and wait outside or in my car while restaurant was completely empty, which in itself is in such an issue but the way he said it was quite rude and as if he enjoyed flexing his power to make you wait outside up to and including a lack of friendliness or hospitable Behavior and again this is the manager who is supposed to get you to want to return. For his behavior and attitude I will never return to this business or order from a habit again I'll take my business to Smashburger who has always been friendly courteous and hospitable and has fresh burgers and I have never seen the manager sitting in the dining room training during peak hours!!! The previous manager here was very friendly and hospitable and why I returned but this guy is a joke and I will never be back as long as he works there! Surely I hope this is not how the Habit wants to...
