I had an amazing experience at Folklore Mexican Food located at 715 56th St, Sacramento, CA 95819! This place is incredibly well-managed by Estelle and Teresa, who are both fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with fast and friendly service, making me feel right at home.

I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and wow—this dish was absolutely delicious! Every ingredient was so fresh and flavorful, but what truly blew me away was the Rancheros sauce—I don’t think I’ve ever had one this OMG full of flavor before! The guacamole was lick-smacking delicious, and the dish came with crispy chips and a yummy green sauce that complemented everything perfectly.

The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking and very reasonable prices. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. Great to have a new, family-run Mexican restaurant in East Sacramento. Nice vibrant atmosphere and clean, colorful interior after a great renovation. Inside is small, with just a few booths plus counter space. Fills up quickly because the food is great. We both enjoyed a taco-enchilada plate that was very good. Food delivered prompt and hot. Absolutely amazing Mexican food. By far the best I've had. Ordered their quesabirria and I was in love! I regret not taking photos, but I was too in the moment of how good the food looked. And the taste was just as incredible. Service is amazing and the people here are super kind and accommodating. Great portions too! Delicious salsa and fresh chips! Their churros are DIVINE!
