Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Sacramento

We stopped by Mountain Mike’s Pizza in Sacramento for a family dinner, and honestly, it was one of the best pizza nights we’ve had in a while. We placed a pickup order ahead of time, and as soon as we walked in, our pizza was hot, fresh, and ready to go—no waiting around, no mix-ups, just perfect timing. You could smell the deliciousness before even opening the box.

And let me tell you, the pizza did not disappoint. The crust had that perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft inside, and they were definitely generous with the toppings. Every bite was loaded with flavor, from the gooey cheese to the rich, tangy sauce and fresh veggies. You can tell they care about quality because nothing tasted stale or reheated—it was just straight-up fresh and delicious.

But what really sealed the deal for us was their beer selection. They had a solid variety of options, and each one we tried was crisp, cold, and just what we needed to go with our meal. There’s nothing better than a cold, refreshing beer to wash down a good slice of pizza, especially when you’re unwinding with family.

The staff was friendly and made everything super easy, from picking up our order to making sure we had everything we needed. It’s not always easy to find a spot where the food is great, the service is smooth, and the overall vibe makes you want to come back, but this Mountain Mike’s nailed it.

If you're in the Sacramento area and craving some quality pizza with a fresh, crisp beer to go with it, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back for another family...

My experience this evening was absolutely terrible. I couldn't be more disgusted with the service I've received. My family and I are regulars at this place up until today. I am part of a family business and I know for a fact this is not how business should be ran. Long story short I evite family and friends to join myself and my children for a bite to eat after a school dance. We arrived at 820 pm, more than an hour before closing, when we walk in there is one other part of 2 in the entire location. We place an order (2 small pizza). Around 915 pm still no food. Turns out they missed our order and the party of 2 that was there before us had an simple order that was missed as well. Once they get our pizzas going they the young man who was preparing our order comes out and asked if we could please take our order to go "BECAUSE OUR MANAGER WANTS TO LEAVE EARLY TONIGHT" I was in complete shock that we were asked to leave after over an hour of waiting for our SMALL order. My children were hungry, and upset that they now had to wait even longer to eat. I asked for a refund, which I felt was well deserved after basically being kicked out after terrible service, and was told that was not possible because the systems were closed down for the night at 920pm closing isn't until 930/10! Throughly disgusted of this...

Mountain Mike's Pizza is a great pizza restaurant in the Sacramento area. This was our first visit to Mountain Mike's Pizza, and we were totally impressed.

The pizza restaurant was clean, well maintained, tables were neat and set well, and staff were helpful, curteous, and professional. They off a wide variety of other menu items besides the best pizza around!

They have a game room for the kids, televisions around to watch the game, and an area you can reserve for larger parties.

We were getting pizza to go, and it was ready quickly and piping hot when we arrived home several miles away.

February 2024 update: last night we ordered The Everest Pizza, Mountain Sized. The Mountain Sized Pizza is a 20'' pizza with 20 large slices. This was by far the largest pizza we have ever purchased, it must have weighed 12 pounds or more fully cooked, and the slices were huge. The Mountain Size was Everest Pizza was amazing!
