Neat little shop. The service is friendly and the drinks are simple. Not a super wide selection for milk tea but they also offer smoothies, snow, icy, etc. but I only come for the milk tea. I like coming here because I have a student discount (student must be present with current I.d. for proof for $1 off) and they also do a stamp card for every 10 drinks you buy, the 11th one is free (*edit: they stopped using the stamp card and now use the Five Stars app instead for rewards but if you have old stamp cards, you can still use them up). They charge a small fee (like 50 or 75 cents) if you pay with credit card (no fee for debit) if the total is below $10 I think? It's also close to Safeway and Poke Noke so sometimes, I knock out two birds with one stone. I personally prefer the drink selection elsewhere but what I do love about this place is the boba is the perfect texture of chewiness, the milk tea is thick and doesn't taste diluted like some places, there's a cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff which I do not always receive at a...
Read moreThis boba spot is definitely a spot for friends to meet up to catch up. The vibe is very eccentric and I love how you can mix and match and create your own drink. I definitely felt a bit intimidated by that! They have very interesting flavors and also some typical flavors as well. The overall interior shouts a cabin in Tahoe because of all the beautiful wooden seats, walls, and interior designing. There is space to sit and the hanging lights give a great affect in the evenings. Their bathroom should be redesigned and the parking can be a bit tight due to the popular area it's in. Also they have HUGE rats out front running around if you stay later than 8PM lol don't let that deter you though, it's a great spot. I plan on going a few more times and trying other drinks! Oh! Last thing, their popcorn chicken was gross, seemed...
Read moreI have aways been a big fan of Premium Earl Grey milk tea here because of its nice and strong tea flavor.
This morning my husband and I decided to grab Earl Grey milk tea for ourselves. We were excited as always. Our cups of Earl Grey milk tea took a bit longer time to make. We could wait, no problem. However, the good old hot Earl Grey milk tea from Pearl's has changed. This time it was bland and cold. It tasted pretty much like water with little bit of milk and very little tea flavor.
I don't know if there was something missing in that batch of milk tea or the store has decided to change the recipe. We were very disappointed. We will probably come back as we hope it was just a mistake. A cup of Premium Earl Grey milk tea is not cheap, please make it right as you used...
