CANCELLED our booking for a teen birthday party of up to 25 people on 9 March in their VIP KTV room 2-7pm on a Sunday. Reason: It is too expensive here! Went on 23 Feb to try out the place.. $70 for 1 hour to sing and eat in their smallest KTV room! Ordered 2 food items, salt pepper fish $16 and Hong Kong noodle $15. This place charges a mandatory 18% gratuity the moment you sing, eat and drink in their KTV room! $24/hour smallest KTV room before 7pm (be $48 after 7pm!) +$16 fish + $15 noodle (drank ice water only!) =$55 + 8% tax + 18% gratuity =$55 + 4.40 + $9.90 =$69.30! (70 cents to $70!) Cancelled our booking of their VIP room for up to 25 people that will cost $54/hour. ($108/ hour after 7pm!) $2.50 per can of soda = $62.50 if every of 25 people gets ONE can. Or, $10 for a small jug of juice for 4 people, $70 for 7 jugs for 28 people. Add cost of food for 25 people, estimate $10 per person average, total $250 to $300. VIP KTV room + drinks + food =$54X5 hours + $70 + $300 =$270 + $70 + $300 =$640 + 8% tax + 18% mandatory gratuity =$640 + $51.20 + $115.20 =$806.40 !! Over $800 Just to sing, eat and drink for 5 hours during their NON-PEAK hours!! Decided to CANCEL the booking, instead, went on Amazon to buy 2 karaoke speakers that each comes with 2 wireless microphones, $95 each set, ~$200. Just need to clean up our house, decorate with balloons etc, and have the birthday party in the comfort of our home! This way, not only can save $806.40-$200 = ~$600 for food and drinks! But also, we get to keep the speakers for more of future karaoke sessions instead of just pay and go home with nothing!! But I’ll say, the salt pepper fish and noodle tasted decent, might go back to eat, in the restaurant NOT in their KTV room!! (Thus, 2 star for this review) Parking is limited and tight, not ideal for big group party. Neighbourhood does not look or feel too safe I would feel even more so at night? Maybe 60% safe out of the 100% safest-feeling neighbourhood?

ITS OPEN FOR DINE IN AGAIN!!! Alas, Sacramento's hidden gem of a casual Chinese food eatery is open for dine in again. I was ecstatic, as ordering Togo over the pandemic didn't hit nearly the same for me. All of their dishes are amazingly solid. The curry beef brisket was huge in portion. Marinated pork ear was done amazingly and perfectly seasoned. The tofu seafood hotpot was so delicious, albeit the portion size for that seemed to have shrunken a bit post pandemic. For the price and the atmosphere of a clean and bright hk Cafe that also sells boba...the perfect place. I also enjoy their beef chow fun a lot and think that for the pricing, the quality of the food is superb. Even with the inflation going on recently, it's one of the places that I don't feel bad about going to despite some price increases.

Not a family friendly restaurant. When we got there their waiter were smoking in the front of the restaurant, where their drunk owner was flirting with female customers inside the restaurant before dinner time start. We don't feel comfortable to stay, so we end up taking Togo instead, but when we got home we found out that 2 out of 3 styrofoam containers got melted through by the hot food. End up have to throw them all out. We call back to the restaurant to let them know their food safety issue, but they didn't take us seriously as we could hear their kitchen staff were laughing in the background. Worst experience ever.

We got the vip room for 25 people to sing karaoke for our friends birthday. At first everything was fine and everything went fine. But we had some minor technical difficulties where the queue for the previous people wasn't cleared on the YouTube queue. So while we were trouble shooting the system suddenly turned off. When the system was fixed the lady said we unplugged the system. None of us once touched the cart or any plugs, we only touched the iPad the entire time. After the system was back up and running instead of it properly screencasting just the youtube video on the screen, it was mirroring the iPad. So we couldn't see the lyrics while picking songs without the giant search bar getting in the way. Mind you it was working fine before but it wasn't set up correctly anymore. So we called them back up to have it fixed but the lady said everything was fine. I kept explaining to her to Screencast it and have it back to displaying just the video so we could properly queue music without constantly having to pause and add songs. She didn't understand for some reason and I even showed her how to youtube cast videos and she just kept saying "you can't do that that's not how it works". I got really frustrated and kept explaining to her as patiently as possible until she finally understood. Btw by this time it was already 30 minutes into our 2 hours session. Eventually she came back in after saying she'd talk to a technician and then said "we can't do that because we'd have to reset the whole system" which mind you. It's not that hard to set up youtube Screencast. She just said to keep changing the music as it ends which seriously wastes time and makes things difficult since people wanna add more than one song and the iPad was in a corner that was super cramped. We gave up and just kept going but eventually the music just got too loud. After the system was reset the music was super loud and we asked them if they could just turn it down and they said "no we can't, its already turned down" mind you the music was so loud, most of our ears were ringing. We couldn't take it anymore because it was actually bad for our ears. So we asked them if we could end it early and they said if we end it early then your hour is up so you have to leave now. So we did, and the entire time that lady was clearly irritated at us. We later asked for a refund since we only got to sing 5 songs in that 1 hour and they refused. We are never going here again, we went to the blue moon karaoke place down the street and it was way better. I've been there twice now and the service is way better, and those people actually know how to set up and fix their own systems. How do you people even run a business with this kind of service where you can't even fix your own system and blame people for what we assume was an...

Came to this place for a friends birthday, at first glance the place looked clean and more modern than the other karaoke places around, i even called them and asked if they had the youtube and they said yes. All was well until we got inside. Everyone was escorted to the karaoke room and i was thirsty so i decided to get a drink from the boba shop they have inside. I asked the clerk of there was a clean up fee if i bought just 1 drink and he said yes. I even asked if it was just a water bottle and he said yes and that “i cant avoid it”. Okay so i got my drink and went on in (my friends also bought drinks and got water so i didn't feel as bad.) Once everyone got inside and started singing we sang about 5 songs and then we started having technical difficulties with the queue. It seems there was a preset queue already there that was getting in the way of our queue. When we tried to reset the queue several times the sound stopped working. (Keep in mind this whole time we are losing time). We called the staff over to help and they sound the HDMI had been disconnected. The lady that came in to fix it blamed us for unplugging the HDMI and then left. She came back afterwards and powered up the tablet and now the screen wasn't displaying right. She tried to fix it and then just gave up and told us if we wanted a refund for the lost hour we would have to leave now. So basically we got kicked out for something that wasin’t our fault got charged an hour for 5 songs and had to pay an unavoidable clean up fee AND on top of that the staff was rude. 1 star never coming back to this place again, we went to Blue Moon a few blocks down and they were nicer and their equipment...
