3 stars just for being open after 6 p.m. lol... Amazing how many Starbucks locations close really early. I pretty much order 1 or more of the same 3 drinks Everytime I go to any starbucks, and unfortunately, they aren't all created exactly equal, though usually pretty close. I was a little bit disappointed today, just like I was the last time I gave this location a shot. The woman at the drive thru was nice and friendly and everything, just not the best drinks I ever had.
One thing though - that took away a star... I'm about 97% certain that of my two drinks, was handed off to the car in front of me. Then, after 30 or so seconds, the person in the car handed the drink back to the barista... Who I believe proceeded to hand it to me. 😐 You can draw your own conclusions, but that is what I am almost entirely certain happened. I also know that they didn't do what they should've, and throw that drink out and start over since it left the hands of the barista, I to the hands of the wrong customer.
Maybe I am being overly sensitive on this issue... But with the state of the world today, with the resurgence of covid19, I don't think it's all that cool to give me a drink that you left in the hands of another customer until she gave it back to you. . . In reality, I would like to believe that it's no big deal, and probably nothing happened, but the point is - it COULD be a bad or dangerous decision, depending on the people...
Read moreListen, a Starbucks, is a Starbucks, is a Starbucks, their is only one thing to consider. How does the person behind the counter treat me, how is that treatment interpreted, and how does that make me feel. I like you have probably been to many a Starbucks. I have been to this one 4 times across 3 years. Almost always b4 noon and all but one of those times can a say I did not leave feeling like I somehow inconvienienced the Barista by making an order that they were not privy to receive a tip for. I've worked in service the and hospitality/food industry for most of my life (the ones where you aren't allowed to receive tips), hence my inability to leave one at coffee shops. I no very well the culture of such places, because I work in one. I know many of these people live on these tips (myself not included) and because of or in addition to workers make darn sure to pay close attention to who clicks that $ sign button and who doesn't, and they a darn sure to treat those folks accordingly. Problem. 75% of my time in this specific Starbucks I've been treated accordingly. Well, sorry guys but on a $30K/yr income I just...
Read moreOwen refuses bathroom access, saying the bathroom is for paying customers only. He states it is a new Starbucks policy. I understand the rising of homeslessness and vandalism that are going on. I work in the field, and a courtesy bathroom service has been pleasant for most. Im not thirsty for a drink, but order one anyway but won't use the restroom just because of Owen demeanor. Policy must be enforced but has some courtesy by case. No wonder why this Starbucks location is slow and dead. I would rather go somewhere else but place a mobile order for a trenta drink just to show these workers that not everybody is here for a hand out. Starbucks has changed. Used to be really fun, upbeat, and jolly workers. Now, it's just boring and the company knows it. Maybe you need to hire people who want to be there instead of a job. Should try to do some secret shopper...
