I recently visited the new location of The Sandwich Spot at 1555 River Park Dr Ste 100 A in Sacramento, CA, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! Conveniently located right in front of Arden Mall inside an office building, this spot is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Nav, the amazing manager, and the entire staff are incredibly quick and friendly, making the experience even more delightful. The place itself is spotless, with an upbeat vibe that adds to the overall experience.

I had the Rainforest Veggie Sandwich on sourdough, and it was nothing short of culinary heaven! The combination of pepper jack, honey mustard, cream cheese, and their secret sauce was simply genius. The veggies were fresh and crunchy, and the secret sauce tied everything together perfectly. I’ve never had cream cheese in a sandwich before, but it was a game-changer. To top it off, I paired it with my favorite cream soda, and it was the perfect complement.

What really impressed me was that the sandwich was not only delicious and filling but also kept me energized and alert for a two-hour meeting afterward. No food coma here—just pure satisfaction!

I ordered for 3 people and out of the 3 only 1 item and the sides were correct. I verified my order from my receipt 3 times to make sure I didn’t make a mistake. However what I ordered was correct but what I received was far from. I ordered a Cobb salad with blue cheese. The salad I got had tortilla chips on it and nothing else I’d expect on a Cobb. The dressing was correct. My husband ordered a Big Lagoon and what he got was far from and because nothing he was expecting on the sandwich as advertised was on the sandwich. My first time trying this place and possibly my last. I ordered online and gave a 20% tip which isn’t deserved if effort to give me what I ordered...

I came in during lunch rush but every person was greeted and thanked for their patience. They were short staffed but kicking butt and taking names. I had about 5 minutes to make up my mind and decided on The Grizzly with the Dutch Crust.

They were quick (as they the could be) and my sammich was hot and delicious. The guy even threw some bomb sauce in. AMAZING!

I have a fairly big appetite but I wasn't able to finish my sandwich; they wrapped it up and bagged it for me to finish later.
