TOGO'S Sandwiches — Restaurant in Sacramento

Terrible customer service the worse, I ordered a sandwich from this location on accident thru the Togos website. They refuse to refund my money stating I have to do it thru the website. The website does not have an option. They told me I had to drive 30 min to them to get it. I told them they are 30 min away and I have 30 min lunch requesting them to transfer the order to a closer location or refund my money they again refused. I informed them I would write a review and requested the Corporate number they refuse to give that to me also. I man finally told me they would refund the money in 48 hours which would be monday due to it being a Friday. Today 12/06/2021 I was called by someone stating they would not be refunding my money but i could have the sandwich anytime and they are not refunding me bacause the sandwich was already made and thrown in the trash. he states when I called it was 1:15pm and it was placed around 12:55. This information is correct according to my records my order was placed and 1:01pm and I called at exactly 1:10pm. The worse customer service ever. DO NOT WADTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PLACE...THEY NEED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS IF THEY CANNOT GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Love Togo's sandwiches. While I didn't eat in the shop, the food was fresh and consistent with other experiences with Togo's.

I made my order through the app and had it delivered to my hotel downtown. The store phoned me right after making the order and where they were a little confused because they didn't offer delivery for anything but catering over $120. Cebrian (sp?) was the one I spoke with and he was super apologetic and very kind, offering a refund if no one came to pick up the meal for delivery.

In the end we figured out the delivery part was offered by a third-party, doordash. Everything went smoothly despite the initial confusion. I received the sandwich on time, the staff who called me to double-check everything was really great. I would absolutely order...

The service was good, and the atmosphere was welcoming, but the quality of the hot roast beef was sub-par. I ordered a hot roast beef 9" sandwich on sourdough with nothing on it, but the meat, bread, and a little pepper. When I checked my sandwich prior to eating it, I noticed an excessive amount of gristle and fat on the meat. After paying over $18 for the sandwich and tip, I was very disappointed with the quality of meat and unable to eat it. I removed the meat and ate the bread. The most expensive 9" of sourdough bread I ever paid for.
