Wendy's — Restaurant in Sacramento

Wendys wendys wendys, where do I start... this experience today was the worst I've had. Usually it's okay, but this made me go out of my way to leave a review. Orders 5 burgers/sandwiches. 4 of them were wrong and I didn't even receive the last one. I was in the drive thru and had to wait 10 minutes to even get my food. I checked the food before leaving the drive thru and saw that multiple items were wrong. I went inside and had to wait and additional 10 minutes to get my food. While in there they still were getting items wrong. It wasn't anything complex. I did get an apology at the end, I didn't expect anything for free but it would have been nice to offer something as usually that's what restaurants do when they mess up on orders. I will still go back because we love Wendy's but please get it together.

So I circled back and tried them again. It's either they don't try or the person making the food can't comprehend the machine or read. I mobile ordered food for the family. I decided to go inside because I wanted to check the food to make sure it was right and not hold up the drive thru line. When I went in, there was a lady in there who had her order made incorrectly and had to get it fixed. She had multiple sandwiches from what I could tell. I had a total of 3 burgers and 2 sandwiches. Every single one was made incorrectly. They sent them back to be made again, and they were made even worse the 2nd time. Usually I don't want to get the manager involved, but this time I did. She personally made the food for me. I was there for almost 30 minutes. Again, I wasn't offered anything extra as you would expect with the food industry, but I didn't care I just wanted my food made correctly. Also, there are a couple of staff in there who need to be retrained because they clearly aren't doing a good job. ...

Wendy's in Natomas definitely makes a striking first impression! The new building is absolutely beautiful and modern, with a sleek design that really stands out. It’s a significant upgrade from older Wendy's locations, and it’s clear they've invested in creating a more contemporary dining experience. Plus, the service is commendably quick, which is a huge plus when you’re looking for a fast meal on the go. However, once you get past the aesthetics and speedy service, the food itself leaves a bit to be desired. More often than not, my order arrives lukewarm, which is a real shame, especially for items like their famous fries or a hot burger. It's frustrating when you're craving something warm and comforting, and it arrives barely above room temperature. Additionally, the portion sizes, particularly for things like fries and frosty, seem to have shrunk over time. It feels like you're getting less for your money, which, combined with the often-cold food, detracts from the overall value. So, while the Natomas Wendy's boasts a fantastic new look and impressively fast service, I hope they can work on delivering hotter food and more consistent portion sizes. The Drive Thru is a joke.. Been waiting in line blocking parking spaces for over 10 minutes.. People are turning around behind me to leave.. Maybe they are having an off night or maybe employees decided not to come to work and help.. If you don't like waiting over 30 minutes in the drive thru, go to the Wendy's off Northgate.. They have their $hit together and are fast during long lines.. Words of advice, have employees with experience of dealing with busy times and not throwing one excuse after another on why it's taking so long. Being the owner of this location should know better, cause corporate wouldn't stand for this. Don't be that Taco Bell off Truxel and San Juan, they are the worst. On a positive note: The food is wonderful and made very well and not half a$$ed.. The three stars though was due to the staff.. They are nice and respectful, cause a one star truly fits this location. Go To Northgate Wendy's. Update: 30 minutes plus in the drive thru. Not coming back unless it at 3AM when it's slow.
