Really enjoy this place from the array of different pastries from cronuts which are a cross of a donut and cressiont, to donuts, mochinuts which are a bracelet shaped donut that looks like a bunch of donut holes connected together. I find that they have a more subtle sweetness to them so they would best for people who don't like too sweet of a dessert. The flavors seem to very though I don't know how often that happens. Syringes full of cream also come with the donuts ranging from lemon, strawberry, cream and a chocolate milk cream. The best thing by far though would be the staxx, formaly known as senorita bread, the subtly of butter and sugar around hot dough is just something of a simple pleasure in life that one should not miss out on.

Don't be fooled, the Spanish rolls are not Starbread's 'senorita bread' even though they play on the name and have the exact same location of the old Starbread, they even carry pretty much the exact same items that Starbread did, the quality is not even close! The Spanish Rolls are dry, like super dry, barely anything inside or out. Be warned these are not even close to what you were expecting if you arrived at Bad Bakers expecting Starbread and you see 'Spanish Rolls' selling for the same price. We've been there 3 times since the name changed and usually eat them within 15 minutes of leaving the store, probably have to go to Elk Grove to get the real thing.

I usually come here to get senorita bread (or Spanish rolls) to share at work. It’s a bit hit and miss, sometimes they’re fresh and other times they’re on the colder side and hard. I would recommend putting them in a bag or on something when in your car because the grease WILL leak out of the corners of the box onto your seats. 😭😭 This time we tried the donuts. They didn’t taste fresh, even the cronuts were not flaky and delicious as usual. 😭 These donuts are very sweet and should be eaten in moderation because it will give you a stomachache.

Spanish bread out of this world always hot and fresh. Donuts delicious and creative !! My fav is the Couch Potato Kronuts bc who can resisit drenched chocolate and chips sprinkled on a croixsant. The store decor is adorable it feels like an experience making it a 5 star rating. They offer merch that is uber cool, too!! My first time i went there I ordered a Bakwr dozwn and spanish bread. I took home 3 BOC donuts I didnt know there was pieces of bacon on it. My ordered was to celebrate the end of Ramadan EID....we dont eat pork! I was a little disappointed bc I had 3 of my dozen that we couldn't eat or share. I called them the staff was friendly and offered to replace those for us. This definitly gave me a very positive feeling it only makes me want to go there more bc they honored something that was important to me but was not thier fault bc I didn't ask what was on the donut intially. But they did not hesitate to make it right and were super friendly. Now, I think I've been there 4x times since the 1st time and my son and I cant stop talking about spanish bread or BAD BAKERS to our friends. We're on vacay in Santa Cruz and think its the main reason we are looking forward to...

This is a counter review to the man who left a 1 star earlier today.

Seriously? You're getting upset because they closed the store 1 minute early? How entitled do you have to be to write a rage review about that? I know you may not be the brightest light bulb (to say the least), but they have to do several things before they fully close (sweep, mop, clean machinery, restock, etc.) You are hardly a priority in this situation. If you would have the decency to show up even 10 minutes before close (like a normal human being,) then you would of been served. But instead, you decide to cause a nuisance to everyone.

And worst of all. You had the nerve to call the workers "g*etto" over this. I go to this bakery multiple times and the workers treat customers with respect, and they are incredibly helpful when you are looking for suggestions. This sounds like nothing more than an overweight pasty Low T level man who's wife left him for a bigger 🐔

Keep doing great...

First off, the baked goods are outstanding. The problem is the service. They just remodeled. This was my first time back since the remodel. I wasn’t even sure if they were going to be reopened yet. I got there just after opening and there was 4 people ahead of me. Before the remodel I was told they would be closed a while but when they reopened the service would be much faster. IT’S SLOWER! Now there’s just more to look at while you’re waiting longer than before. There was one person working the counter with a lobby full of customers. Zero sense of urgency. Employees kept coming up from the back but provided no assistance. On top of all this, the counter person had the audacity to ask everyone to text in to rate the the best bakery in America or something like that. It took approximately 30 minutes to get my order. As I said, I love the Spanish Rolls. I’m sure the donuts are great. They need some serious customer service and...
