We were greeted friendly and seemed to have the store to ourselves.Everything was going well until the young lady that was waiting on us took a personal call in the middle of our check-out. The manager was coming from the back room area with new merchandise when she noticed us standing at the counter watching her clerk talking on her phone with her back to us with our total still waiting to process. The manager quickly took over our check out as the other clerk continued to make plans for after work. Good professional help is hard to find but this was the first time we weren’t told about upcoming products coming out or given personal feedback about gaming. With the holidays coming up I certainly hope this isn’t what I will be experiencing in my future visits. Since this was the first time we were treated with such disregard and for the managers professionalism I am generously giving this visit 2 stars 1 for the manager recognition when we entered and another star for the manager taking initiative to help process our order. It’s a shame that the young lady that started our check out probably didn’t even realize how rude her behavior was….. as we left she was still on her personal phone talking to friends. Girl there’s a time and place for your personal business but it’s not at work on a sales floor. If you need reminding it’s during your break time. Noticed other reviews and did notice the personal phone girl wasn’t answering the business phone as it was ringing but immediately answered her own phone. I thought it was strange that she would let it ring until it stopped and undoubtedly the...
Read moreShould have 2 employees so you don’t have to close. Paper sign on the door says they will be closed from 2:40 to 3:30 PM. Ok, short staff is still understandable as employees still need to take lunch. What is not understandable is that the employee came back past 3:30 and I already in my car to leave. Jumped back out since he finally arrived and saw us approach the door waiting for him to open. We stood back to give him time but he went in fast and locked the door behind him. I got a bit closer and to ask what was time they will open back up, since I had somewhere to get to. The flamboyant guy answered - I just walked in! with and attitude. I told him I know that’s why I asking to just come back since the sign says 3:30! Then he was running his mouth and kept talking, of course behind the closed door. I couldn’t make out what he was saying but he was damn near yelling. Lose the attitude, if anyone should have one it should be me, in any case since YOU were late. Act like that with a man and with the door open boy. I will buy games elsewhere. I do not recommend this location solely based on the lack of...
Read moreI had the worst experience with this GameStop team. I ordered a switch for pick up, I needed to change the name to my husbands name. I went online and they said for changes you had to call the store. I had to call the store for 2 days at various times to finally get ahold of someone. When I finally got someone they asked if I could hold while they helped a customer I said that’s fine. I was on hold FOR 30 MINUTES! I had to stay on because it took me 48 hours to finally get a person. When the person came on she hung up on me. So by this time I was insanely ticked off. I called again, no answer, I kept calling until I finally got someone. I explained that I needed to change the pick up name she said you can only do it online I told her that’s not true because the website says to call the store and then she said “sorry” and hung up on me again. I got her name, Tina. When I picked up my item I asked if there was a Tina and I was told there wasn’t one. Not surprised. Either way, dealing with this bankrupt organization was not worth the $25 off. I can’t wait until it...
