The new location isn't really a well-oiled machine. The staff just seems disorganized in general. Maybe they need another person taking orders? Maybe they need those retractable crowd control separator things? Bare with me while I try to explain the experience. This crazy lady, who gets confused real easily, and I walk in. There's a register and a guy taking payments on the right, directly ahead of you. There's a woman on the left taking orders. There's a customer in the mid-left receiving his order, and one on the mid-right paying. Confused yet? Left-to-right: place order, pickup, pay. But chronologically, you place order, pay, pickup. So you have this hodgepodge of customers walking around each other after they pay to pick up their order. Not to mention, walking in, your first instinct is to go right-to-left because the guy at the register is directly ahead of you. Add to all this, the woman you give your order to has to repeat it, either from memory or as you place it, once to the cooks/preps and once to the guy operating the register. And also, customers were getting confused about who's order was who's when they brought it out. So they had to open the box and check. I see it happen other places, sure. But not this consistently. This was with every single customer. It's all very strange to me that these problems still exist. Computers that take your order at one place and show it on a screen at another place have existed since at least 2004. A basic number system, (print a number on your receipt and call it out when its ready) has probably existed before my lifetime. So these problems really shouldn't exist, especially in a new location. Beyond all that. Food was good. I may go back eventually. It's tough to get over that much unnecessary...

Read moreI am an 18 year Active Duty Navy Veteran born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. I have been to and lived in many different countries, indulged in many foods and have quite an array for my taste pallet. With all of this being said I have never had a better wrap!!!
My man Derek, who has worked at Yaya’s since it was on State street when I went the first time 3 years prior, always delivers the perfect consistency of rice, beans, chicken and sauces. It is always hot and cooked to perfection inside and out! It is always jam packed with the ingredients tightly wrapped. Next time you go to Yaya’s ask Derek to make you a wrap! I do every time I come home on leave and this dude needs a promotion! Best wrap in...
