I placed an order by phone at 6:40. I was told that it'd be ready in 30 minutes. I proceeded to the location and waited until 7:15 in my car patiently. When I went into the location, they were extremely busy and seemed to have little to no organization going on. Several customers were told that there wait times were longer prior to me being helped. When it was time for me to be helped, the cashier had no order with my name on it. I then explain that I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, a medium chicken and banana pepper pizza, and 6 Buffalo wings. He was still unable to find my order. He proceeds to look for the order but still no luck. I was then told that if it'd place another order, the wait would be 40 minutes. He then proceeded to say that his manager called out, as well as another employee.
If I might add some advice....... Being organized is key in any business. -Being prepared is key in any business. -Getting people's orders right is important to the consumer. -Having dedicated staff who have adequate tools to do their job is important. -Having leadership to control chaos is important. -Hiring reliable staff is very important.
It's Friday night; a night that your establishment should well aware of how busy it gets in any business. Might be time to reassess the level of organization, preparation, and the ability to maintain control when it gets busy.
The cashier was very professional and apologetic.
I hope this provides some insight and helps...
Read moreThis is our favorite pizza place but lately they haven't been the same. The other day I was picking up my order and paid in cash. The person who took my payment, grabbed my order, put the money in the drawer and closed it. My payment was more than the order so she owed me some change. She gave me my order and I stood there waiting for my change back. She looked at me and seemed confused. I then reminded her that she owed me some money back and she said "sorry, I don't have any change to give back to you" and then told me "it's only xx amount anyway" and shrugged it off. First off, it wasn't a lot that she owed me BUT you should always, ALWAYS give the customer their change back instead of assume they don't want it. Otherwise that would be considered stealing! I am sure they had some in the back and that she just needed to grab a manager for that. If not, then give the customer a heads up so they can pay a different way. Honestly, I could have lived with out the change, but the point is this should be a common sense thing to do. Luckily this is my first time with this happening but next time may not just be some change and could be more. This could severely cause issues for the business AND the employee. Whether its the employees first job or not, please train your employees about this and make sure they understand to not...
Read moreI'm very disappointed in this location. I've always preferred Marcos over the other pizza brands for over a decade now. The service and food has always pleased when using the NRH, North fort worth or west fort worth locations. This blue mound location though. The food isn't too great, sometimes the pizza is dry with little sauce. My biggest issue is they cannot keep up with the demand. Many times over I've had to wait over a hour for a pizza to be made, and that's even when I'm picking up the pizza. Ordered a pizza today at 5:20, arrived there minutes before 6:00 and was told they haven't even made it yet and I would need to wait 20-30 minutes. That would make it 50 minutes for them to even get to making the pizza. I requested to cancel the order and they did, but I'm still not happy because this is not the first time I've experienced this issue at this location, and per other reviews I'm not the only one. I wish another marcos would open maybe in the eagle mountain or lake worth area so I could avoid using the blue mound...
