Dinner and entertainment. Went through the drive through and started to order only to be interrupted in an extremely condescending tone of voice telling us what the sign taped over the menu already said. Out of lettuce. I said okay and started to order again only for her to interrupt me again and say "just letting you know". Finally she permitted me to give my order. We had a long wait to get to the window, paid, got half of our order and then told to wait off to the side with about 4 other cars also waiting. I started to munch on what food we were given and watched them come out to give food to the other cars and then immediately start screaming at them to leave and not eat there. Before you could even say a word a manager climbed out of the drive thru window to scream and curse at one of the cars until they left. Well we ate what food we had but still hadn't gotten the rest of our order. So I went inside to ask about it. At this point I realized they had not given me a receipt or even asked if I wanted one. I went up to to the counter to ask about our food only to be told it was a 30 minute wait for Taco Bell... About 4 times from different people all at once. We were told about the lettuce but not the wait. Thing is when I opened my mouth to say it had already been 30 minutes, they all ignored me and went about doing basically nothing. Only one person was working on Taco Bell orders out of a dozen people there. So I got in line at the cash register to ask for a refund but was forced to wait another 15 minutes even though there were only two people in front of me. Finally it's my turn and I get three words out before the teenager at the register is called back by the manager and I have to wait some more. I see the manager running out with food and when he comes back in I have to stop him and again I only get about three words out before he interrupts me, asks what I ordered then runs off only to return with my now room temperature food and runs off before I could talk to him. If I had a receipt I might have asked for a refund anyway but it seems like they are clever enough to not give those out probably for...
Read moreI went here hoping to get a quick bite before a movie. I live in Winooski and there aren’t Taco Bell’s around. After realizing it was going to take a while as we had been waiting 40 minutes already with many people still ahead of us, I went and very respectfully asked if we could get a refund as we didn’t really have time to wait any longer and had a lengthy drive. I was told that they “aren’t allowed to do that.” When I asked why, he went and got the manager. I never asked for the manager, nor was I being rude or complaining in any way. The manager came around the corner a few minutes later and was already mad before I even spoke. She asked me what I needed and I started to calmly explain that we didn’t realize it would take so long and we have a time restraint. Before I even finished my sentence, this woman starting yelling at me. She said, “it’s a Friday night and we have a sign that says you will have to wait, didn’t you read it?” I asked her not to speak to me with disrespect as I was not disrespectful to her at all. She then said, “well, you came into a restaurant on a Friday night and expected not to wait. Your food is being made, goodbye.” And she proceeded to walk away. I then was talking to my partner and friend about it, even though they and everyone else in the restaurant heard her yelling at me. And then I hear her scream from the back, “enough from the peanut gallery out there!” I have worked in retail/ customer service my entire life. I am super understanding of wait times and understaffed businesses. But, this is woman was a miserable, awful, person. She needs to be very far away from any customer facing position. So unprofessional. She was also loudly complaining the entire time about other staff and customers to her staff. I don’t know who hired this woman, but I feel awful for anyone who has to work in her general vicinity. I will never step foot back in this...
Read moreWelcome to the worst Taco Bell and existence in the United States. If you don’t mind waiting 10 to 15 minutes per car ahead of you in the drive-through lane you are in for a treat.
The staff here are absolutely rude and hateful over the speaker and seem like you’re a burden and an inconvenience to them just for ordering food. The orders are almost always wrong and it is highly advised you sit there at the window and check to make sure you have every product you ordered because good luck getting it again Unless you wait through that horrible line.
Most of the time they have their lobby doors locked, so you have to go sit through drive-through as if it was intentional they left it out just to make you suffer some more. Their lobby is absolutely filthy and disgusting, their bathrooms are dirty and full of bodily waste. The last time I went inside and use the bathrooms, they had smeared fecal matter on the walls.
Make sure you ask for sauces ahead of time otherwise they will huff and puff and get mad about it at the window. Instead of visiting this one it is highly recommended. You spend the hour drive or the ferry ride to go to Plattsburgh, New York and eat at at least a normal Taco Bell. Those people there are way more happy and friendly and courteous and the wait times are almost nonexistent in comparison to this god-awful place
And if your order is messed up, don’t expect management to get a hold of you don’t expect to have any of your problems resolved even if you have complaints with the staff members they don’t care here. They will threaten to fight you outside if you ask for things or say, it is incorrect . Really seems like it’s on brand for Taco Bell, I don’t know how this franchisee has their license still for...
