How did this restaurant get a Tripadvisor award?!? This is the WORST, I mean WORST Thai food I have ever eaten. It takes a lot for me to give a bad review, but I had to in this case. The people giving a five stars must never have eaten Thai Food. If you have eaten good Thai food is for yourself a favor, stay away from this restaurant!
The service was terrible. Ordered the Paradise Fish which was supposed to be a Whole Fish. When I questioned the fish, the older lady told me she took out the head and bones. I didn’t ask you to do that, I know what I’m getting into ordering a whole fish. I was given a fillet! (See picture). If you don’t have a whole fish, just say it and I will order something else. Don’t charge me $18.95 for a fillet. With all the terrible tasting cucumbers, tomatoes and onions on the fish, the fish was cold!! Also ordered spicy drunken noodles with tofu, oh was it as terrible as the fish. Not sure what was claimed to be tofu.
Their customer service was terrible, I repeat terrible! When I questioned the food, the older lady started speaking to the young lady by the register, I asked her to stop talking about me because I’m questioning the food I just paid for.
Don’t...
Read moreAvoid at all costs. Hands down the worst Thai food I have ever tasted. Service was lacking, food was flavorless and cold and the kitchen smelled like dirty socks. We paid for everything and I even left a 15% tip due to the nicer older lady there. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but I have to say this place is definitely not worth your time or money. Hopefully they will improve quality and cleanliness. We had the spring roll appetizer first. It was over cooked in old oil, although they were served hot. Flavor was non existent. We then had chicken pad Thai and pineapple fried rice with chicken. The chicken was very tough and hard to chew up. The Pad Thai tased more like noodles in syrup. There was no spice at all. I asked for chili oil and got what I think was soy sauce ? I don’t know it did not really have a flavor and was not hot at all. I will give them the benefit of doubt on the service as they did have a help wanted sign. We are not picky, so please take that into consideration if you plan on eating here. Stomach was upset for two hours after eating there and we only had water...
Read moreAfter all the glowing reviews I found the food to be average. Nothing to write home about. Drunken Noodles were NOT spicy at all even though they have two chili pepper logos on the menu. It was also very bland. They need to up their heat and their sauces. No dark soy, or sweet soy just a sprinkle of crab sauce. The Thai fried rice was unremarkable. Bland as all get out. What I think is happening here is they get too many requests for "not spicy" thai food. Wake up people Thai Food is all about the balance of sweet, sour, salt, and spice. Maybe the people of St. Albans think this place is the cats meow but Tiny Thai in Winooski blows them away every...
