Sunrise Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Saint Augustine

Dropped into Saint Augustine to visit some friends and accidentally discovered the holy grail of coffee shops: Sunrise Brew Café. It’s like if a beach town and a warm hug had a caffeine-fueled baby… and that baby grew up to make absurdly good lattes.

Tessa and Maggie—pretty sure they’re sisters, or at least share a telepathic bond over espresso—are the caffeine fairy godmothers you didn’t know you needed. They’re so friendly I briefly wondered if I owed them money. I can’t even remember what I ordered (there were choices… so many glorious choices), but whatever it was tasted like early retirement, beach naps, and winning at life.

The vibe? Imagine your coolest friend’s living room—if they also trained under a milk-frothing wizard and had a playlist that somehow gets you.

Can I give more than five stars? Like, a glowing sixth star that also gives you a fist bump and tells you everything’s going to be okay? I’d give them that. And my Netflix password. Maybe even my dog.

All I have to say is wow!! As someone who travels to St Augustine often I try to make the most of my visit by hitting the best spots. I stopped in to try out this local coffee shop that just opened and from the second I walked in the door I felt completely relaxed. The staff was amazing! Warm, all smiles and the atmosphere.. come on!! After I got the cinnamon bun latte which was absolutely delicious, and a muffin which was huge.. I got to lounge around on the most comfortable sofa and just take a break from the heat! I thought it couldn’t get any better until I went to use the restroom before leaving.. This place is special. Sunrise Brew Coffee’s addition to my neighborhood has brought a community that is hard to find! It is a welcoming environment with terrific LOCAL business owners. They remembered my name after the second time in and always go above and beyond for their customers. They provide healthy fresh food that is super reasonably priced.
