Walgreens — Local services in Saint Augustine Beach

Pharmacy should just be shut down!!!!Called was on hold for 30 min just to be disconnected when someone finally picked up. Called back cause I got the time to be annoying for someone who doesn’t want to do the job they applied for(another 30min) -_- I have bronchitis so I was given codeine cause my cough is none stop 24/7! Not only did I feel like I was talked down to after finally getting them to answering and explaining what I needed. The girl who answered said her store was out. Okay, understand meds are hard to get in after 2020 I’ll try another Walgreens. so called another one just to be put on hold for another 30 min to be talked down to yet again and told the company stopped selling any codeine as a store policy!!!They don’t even know what they can and can not sell complete waste of time. Called to inquire about product before driving to island. Person answering phone said he did not know and suggested calling back tomorrow. It wasn't even 5:00 . I wanted to shop after work before going home. He did not offer to look. It would have taken him 5 minutes to check. I was calling off if an advertisement recieved in the mail. NOW, I will go to Target instead. Walgreens had to have spent valuable marketing dollars, only to be wasted by an ineffecient employee who couldn't be bothered. I will NOT shop at Walgreens no matter the promotion. I will pay full price elsewhere, based on the principle of the matter. This is not the first time Walgreen employees have done this, but it will be the LAST. If you call corporate, they give talking points and recited scripts. I used to really like this store, went there often as it is close by. Today was the worst experience. Tried to get some photos developed and the kiosk was new to me. The 3 employees hanging around would rather joke with each other than help a customer. I literally felt I was bothering them when I had any questions. Then after being there an hour I lost all the pictures at the end. The short thin lady acted like I was bothering her. Please just remove the photo booth portion if you can't or don't want to assist people. I normally post good reviews but this was unbelievable. I will now need to go to CVS for the future. This store has really changed and is not a friendly neighborhood store anymore. Please know it takes a lot for me to write a bad review because I am a positive person normally. But this experience...
