Jalisco pizza — Restaurant in Saint Charles

We went to Walmart nearby, and our kids wanted pizza, so we did a quick Google search and decided to visit this place because of the great reviews.

Our family of four ordered 8 mozzarella sticks, 8 buffalo wings, and a large Hawaiian pizza. It was more than enough for 2 kids & 2 adults.

Most importantly, the service was warm and attentive, from taking our order to checking in on us throughout the meal. The pizza crust was simply the best – not too thick, not too thin, and surprisingly soft yet with just the right amount of crispiness.

We were lucky enough to have a small chat with the chef, and he graciously gave us a special opportunity to see the kitchen. He showed us how the pizzas are made and how various ingredients are prepared. He even made a special quesadilla using BBQ pork, which wasn’t on the menu. We are so thankful for that. The kids and we were genuinely touched by his kindness. It was a truly valuable experience for our family, especially since we recently moved to St. Louis, making us feel the warmth of a welcoming neighbor.

I was also impressed by how they make all their sauces and prepare their ingredients with such care and research.

At the end of our meal, the chef even shared some of his homemade spicy sauce with us. I’m so happy we discovered such a warm and delicious pizza place. The dipping sauce that comes with the pizza is absolutely unbeatable. I can’t wait to go back for...

Will not be ordering from this restaurant again. I placed an order at 4:05ish P.M. on Friday, October 10th. It said on their website that they opened at 4:00 P.M., allowed us to place an order, the transaction went through and we received a confirmation email. The confirmation email said the pizza would be ready to be picked up at 4:39 P.M. When we went to go pick up the pizza, the place was closed. The open sign was on but the doors were locked and the lights were off. We stood outside for 10-15 minutes. We called multiple times as we were outside AND knocked on the door. We called multiple times on the way home to cancel the order. Still no answer. At 4:45 P.M., they finally called us back. They told us that they opened a little late but our order was ready. At this point we had already ordered pizza from a different restaurant. We asked them to cancel the order and refund the money. We told them we had the email and photos and a video of the restaurant doors being locked and the lights being off. They refused and eventually hung up on us. Extremely...

If you love pizza you've got to try Jalisco Pizza! We met and spoke with the owner, Leo, and he is passionate about his distinctive Central American take on one of America's most loved foods. Have you ever heard of Birria tacos? Well, we had one of his signature dishes...the Jalisco Pizza and yes, it comes with an incredible Birria dipping sauce! Leo's Pizza crusts are made fresh in house, his imported specialty ingredients are of the highest quality, and that pride shines through in his signature pizza. The star of this pizza is his own slow roasted, super juicy and tender beef. It's a must try! We also tried the Al Pastor pizza with a wonderfully seasoned pork topping, tender, juicy and just the right amount of char. If you love pizza and want to try something a little different, this is the place. There are many other items on the menu but these two pizzas knocked it out of the park.
