Kubrick's — Restaurant in Saint Charles

Where do I start with this place. I came to saint charles for vacation from Pittsburgh and was told about this place alot by people on main st. theme is awesome with all sorts of Stanley Kubrick memorabilia everywhere. But the drinks are my favorite part. All the bartenders make each drink perfect . Clockwork orange is my favorite. The prices are extremely cheap for the quality . I also met the owner and he was a great guy. Now they do allow smoking but you cant smoke weed. IDK why but those are the rules and I'll respect them. its not rly a big deal cuz you can just go in an alley or the river walk. They also have N64 games that anyone can play. Last thing the clientele are great. I met so many nice people. I see why alot of people who work on main street come here to drink when they get off. Me and my friends who were here this past weekend we were told to leave for looking to young. we are all over the age of 21. The guy at the door black lighted all of our IDs and looked at us multiple times to make sure it was legit, he let us in. As we were Ordering drinks the front door man and the manager came to find us. Then stated we need to leave unless we can provide two forms of ID because we look to young. If you know another form of ID you carry out to bars and clubs besides your drivers license please let me know. NEVER GOING BACK. What an absolutely divine bar. My husband, brother-in-law, and myself popped in here for a couple of late night cocktails while walking around St. Charles. Kubrick’s was extremely welcoming, wonderfully decorated, and they even had fun drinks of the month. I have a deep appreciation for the aesthetic of this spot, and the bartender was extremely friendly. Please do keep in mind that if you do not like cigarette smoke, this place may not be for you, as smoking is allowed inside. We will definitely be back when we are in Missouri again next year, visiting my in-laws for...
