China Wok — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

I've eaten here for about 4 years now. Hadn't left the review because the experience is usually run off the mill (not bad, not exceptional). TODAY I come in to get my order and it's not ready yet. A guy walks in a few minutes after with a bag of food that he picked up that wasn't his. The guy at the counter gives him the correct food and then says my order is up. IT'S THE FOOD THE MAN JUST BROUGHT BACK IN. He seriously tried to give it to me.

I asked for new food, which was met with a little attitude but they "made it again". Got home with my food, and it was barely warm. Usually it's hot to the point you can't eat it right away. I'm pretty sure they gave me the same damn food. The food another patron had already gone home with and likely opened already. ARE YOU SERIOUS GUYS? This place is 2 mins from my house but I'll be sure to pass it from now on to go somewhere else that (hopefully) wouldn't have the audacity to do something so trifling. Congrats, you lost a loyal customer.

I am not sure where to begin with this...I ordered two take-out orders on August 31st, 2021 around 6 pm. I ordered beef and broccoli and general taos chicken. I usually order take out from here once a week. As I arrived home and was eating the beef and broccoli, I noticed a medium sized grey worm, bug or parasite! I have no idea what it was. A dried up pepper? NO NO NO and NO...This disgusting thing resembles a tapeworm. I researched online descriptions that resemble what this "thing" is and it appears to be a "pork tapeworm." There are just no words to this filth. I wanted to vomit. I did not contact the restaurant as all they would do is either give me my $20 refund back or deny it. I have never ever experienced this. I contacted the health department and informed them of this. My broccoli was also crusted with dirt when I bit into it. Does this establishment not care enough to properly wash their produce or check for potential "worms?" No words, if I were you, DO NOT...

I ordered here for the first time yesterday evening around 7pm. Mind you with inflation going on, take out is a big treat that happens once in a good while when there is extra money and I try to support the small businesses. Came here and got the almond boneless chicken combo and rhe general tsos chicken combo with shrimp fried rice and wonton soup. The chicken in both combos was not cooked all the way! The fiance ans I had to go and re cook it ourselves which ended up drying it out and the breading on the almond chicken got hard. $30 worth of food wasted. Its funny because I seen all the rocky reviews but was like no Ill still give them a chance. Nope. I was wrong. Served me...
