Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

Its Tubbys.. except the workers seem to care about how their sandwiches look and taste which makes an obvious difference.. they're a little slow on certain days and some times you're better off just walking in to place an order than calling it in, as I've been put on hold a few times and I can hear the employees taking other orders while I've waited as long as 10 minutes before hanging up. But beyond that, its Tubbys with workers who obviously care.

Edit.. I have changed my original review from 4 stars to 2 after attempting to place the same order Ive been placing at Tubbys for years, the manager (she told me she was the manager when I asked to speak with whoever was in charge) informed me it was impossible to receive lettuce on the side.. She then told me she had no idea who would ever do that as they could lose their job for it. She was confrontational to begin with and I don't think I will be back.. I will now drive the additional 4 miles to the next closest Tubbys as they just took my order perfectly fine with the same positive attitude I'm used to...

The Tubby’s Famous. Simple but Classic.

Fresh Bread, stuffed with thin cold cuts, cheese, just a little lettuce, onion & tomato. Dressed with that Tubby’s Famous dressing.

All ingredients by them selves are nothing fancy but all combined really does bring a smile to my face.

When I take photos I try to capture the love I feel or the anticipation of something so scrumptious looking. Look how my sandwich artist went above and beyond.

Same lady worked there for years, she might not be loveable or anything, but they have fresh food every time and they KNOW how to make the subs. I don't go there for the service, but the food is certainly awesome for a sub shop. Sometimes when you know the food will rock, you don't care about the service as much. I have never had a bad experience there but i could see where she might not be as warm and fuzzy as the big corprate world makes their teams be. Best tubby's subs out of any tubby's PERIOD.
