Worst nasty attitude!!! Visited the Lake Nona location this morning...as we walked in the hostess asked us if we had masks to walk in and we had left them in the car thinking we would be sitting down eating Immediately. We didn’t see any of the customer sitting wearing masks so we thought we didn’t need them. My husband was a little frustrated since we were going to take them off as soon as we got seating and made a comment to me about it. So we got our masks on and started to walk to our table. Just then one of the servers...I know his name but don’t want to say...) I guess heard him and said to my husband “sir actually all restaurants are requiring face masks”. Then we both replied and said actually they’re not we have been to a few that don’t but thats okay we got them on it’s all good”. Seemed like that was cause for him to continue to press the issue even after we’re walking to our tables. Then as we’re walking I heard one of the girls say loud enough for us to hear in a rude and sarcastic tone..I don’t know what restaurant they go to that doesn’t require masks that’s a lie” and then laughed out loud. This was all still while I’m walking away behind my back. So I turned to all of them standing and said you know what you guys are rude very rude can we get a manager. The young blond girl by the name of Diana continued to talk back and got in my face and told me I couldn’t tell her what to do after I told her she didn’t need to be so rude and confrontational. She kept going and going and wouldn’t shut up. The manager got there and while he’s talking to me and I’m trying to explain what happened...(at this point I was very upset at the rudeness and attitude of this girl Diana) you can still hear her talking back and yapping her mouth to the other servers standing around. I turned to the manager Ray and said “ do you hear her. She’s still talking back” i told him I was appalled at how he can let his customers be treated like that. He didn’t do anything to diffuse the situation. As a manager of a major retailer who oversees over 200 associates I have never allowed my associates to speak to a customer this way. It’s obvious this girl Diana doesn’t have a professional bone in her body and the other servers standing around were also rude and unprofessional needing to have a word in when it was all done and over with when we put on our masks. What my husband commented to me was not directed to any of them and they didn’t need to open their mouths any further. Appears to me that these young kids could’ve handled the situation completely different..even apologize for the inconvenience of having to put on masks...which we get it’s what we’re going through right now in this world but to be openly confrontational, rude and all around nasty to a customer. Yeah the best option for Diana and the other server would’ve been to just keep their mouths shut and respect your customers!!! Talk about it when we leave or where we can’t hear you, but their lack of respect for people and the company they represent is just very disappointing and we will never step foot in their again. And we will make sure others...
Read moreHad to drive around 2 times, finally parked in the next lot over across the street, no big deal. They were on a 20 + minute wait, which was fine (Saturday around 11am-ish) There were 2 of us. Everyone was friendly enough. We were greeted right away, seated accordingly to our wait time. My friends breakfast was basic & fine but I had issues with mine- what I "got" to what I "thought" I ordered, to the plating & to the pricing & to the change that was given. My OJ & coffee were fine once I was brought real sugar packets for my coffee instead of the equal sweetener. What I thought I was ordering was an egg omlette w american yellow cheese & onions, side of salsa for the omlette and with the home potatoes, substituted rye toast for the wheat toast, 2 turkey sausage links & 1 pecan waffle. What I got was an egg omlette with white cheese & onions (that didn't even look like an omlette) no side of salsa, no home potatoes, (4) turkey sausage links- THEY WERE GROSS- no flavor & weird looking! (2) pieces of rye toast (cut in half for (4) pieces) & 1 pecan waffle with bananas on it- I didn't order bananas. The so- called omlette was on a very small plate, toast on another, waffle on another.. I was charged over $17.00 for the "omlette" w white cheese & onions, (4) pieces of turkey sausage & (1) waffle PLUS an additional $3.95 for (2) pieces of rye toast cut in half to make (4) pieces.. plus of course OJ/Coffee an additional $8+.. The table sitting next to us they also messed up their pancake order for the little kid- they made regular instead of chocolate chip. Wasn't offered any apology about the missing salsa, missing potatoes or the overcharge non- substitution of the rye toast, nor any compensation.. We paid cash, weren't even brought correct change (shorted by .73) our bill was $41.27 not including tip for 2 people. Personally, I wouldn't go back. They should have their act together on many levels. Was...
Read moreWe only waited 15 minutes to be seated and a nice young man with dark glasses and a friendly smile came to take our order. He got drinks 1st then asked if anyone had questions and we said no. We are ready to order. T went first, she ordered the kids breakfast with 1 pancake eggs and sausage. Her brother J went next. He got the blueberries French Toast with a dusting of powdered sugar. Kinda like the painting on the wall but a lot more tastier. Next was me I just ordered 3 large pancakes with nothing but butter. My daughter got a biscuit with eggs and home fries, my hubby got the same but with wheat toast and 4 pieces of sausage. My son in law got a breakfast sandwich. Everyone was very quiet for a bit until, J said this is the best French Toast I've ever had except next time no powdered sugar. T said let me try and she took a bite and said next time I come back I know what I'm going to get!! J was not able to finish them all and our server who I think was Anthony asked if he wanted to take it home, he kindly said no. I'm so full I guess I'll skip lunch, when T said this is part of lunch, it's Brunch. For Easter. I excused myself to the ladies room and it was very clean, just be careful when using the handicap stall, I went for a ride on the seat. I was thankful fir the handrails. That is an easy fix and I would of told someone but my family was ready to go when I came back. Every server we passed said thank you or have a great Easter, it almost felt a little like Cheers, where everyone cares about your day or their thankful you came to their restaurant. A nice feeling. The manager was all around helping out it seemed like every table that needled it. There were lots of happy employees and patrons. We will definitely be back and we live in St. Cloud. We will drive if the food and service is good, having a great place to go is wonderful. No...
