Osaka Sushi — Restaurant in Saint Cloud

This facility’s Uber Eats service is a SCAM!!! I have been ordered Uber Eats from different restaurants in the past several years, I totally understand that Uber Eats Services are a little more expensive than the original restaurants menu prices, but all of the Uber Eats’ additional charges should based on a reasonable unified Uber Eats company policy rules. This week that was my first time, I ordered an Uber Eats PICKING UP order with this restaurant, when I went there picked my order up, I checked their Dine-In menu, all of the items I ordered, I have been over charged 50% extra price than their original menu’s price, and even just for a 2 oz little little container of a yummy sauce was $2 dollars. I questioned their Manager on duty, she was extremely impatient and told me that their restaurant just takes orders and prepares food for Uber Eats customers, the over charge price is from Uber Eats company. After I brought their food back home, I was very disappointed, three of the four items tasted no good at all. I shared my feedback with Uber Eats representative, the rep. explained Uber Eats company additional charges policy to me patiently, I have been told Uber Eats company only over charged 5% extra price on my Picking Up order, NOT 50% extra, I was shocked, for a truth that could be find out so easily, the restaurant Manager just lied impatiently. The only good thing was I didn’t order a lot, cause the more I ordered the more and more 50% extra charges money I had to pay. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Osaka, soft opening. I've been hoping for better sushi in St. cloud, as I drive all the way to the Mizu in the Loop for their sushi. My review: I went around 2pm for lunch. Moderately busy. Sat at the sushi bar. Had plum wine and 2 rolls on lunch special. I ordered edamame, Salmon Katsu Roll and Spicy Crawfish Roll. My edamame was never brought out but I also wasn't charged for it so there's that. The basic rolls aren't descripted in the menu, so I had to ask about several. Being they're new, the waitress had to go ask and come back, which is okay! But I requested on several occasions for no cream cheese in my rolls (i dont like the flavor or texture of it with fish), and she specifically repeated that and said she'd make sure of it. My salmon Katsu roll arrived, with cream cheese... i pointed it out to her (so she can be aware next time to pay closer attention or write down orders) but i told the chef not to worry about remaking it. The quality of the sushi was good! Fresh. The Crawfish Roll was a bit dry (only crawfish and cruch inside) so I was actually not terribly upset with the cream cheese being in the other Roll as it helped. Osaka Sushi is hands down the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to! I first discovered it through UberEats, where I ordered lunch more times than I’d like to admit—but it’s just that good! This week, I finally had the chance to dine in, and the experience was nothing short of amazing.

As always, the food was incredible. The portions are generous, and everything is unbelievably fresh. Osaka makes the best spicy yellowtail roll I’ve ever had! While I usually go for the udon stir-fry, I decided to try their teppanyaki dinner this time—and I had enough leftovers for both lunch and dinner the next day!

Beyond the food, the service is exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. My husband and I went back for dinner with a friend last night, and once again, everything was perfect. The team is so kind and polite that I’m now officially trading my UberEats orders for in-person visits!

The owner (I believe) always takes the time to chat with my husband, and we truly appreciate his warmth, along with the outstanding service from the entire staff.
