I see most the ppl saying how nice this spot is because it's new, however, not much else in way of accolades. Yea sure, the bldg is new & inside is clean, but the experience is awful & the coffee, not much better.
I've been 3x since it recently opened & was happy to go. Close to home, easy. A nightmare of inept & rude workers awaited me each time I went. How do you get a job in customer service yet still act as if a customer is the bane of your existence? Sure stumps me. First 2 times coffee was okay (ordered my entire family drinks: $37 & about $30 the 2nd time). The wait was long but expected, but then I was met w/complete attitudes both times... 1st time because they forgot a drink I'd ordered; 2nd time because they prepared a nondairy drink wrong & I asked to switch to correct one. I guess a little order they can't even complete, is too much trouble to fix without them showing their disgust. Final time was 3 nights ago. Was going to Dunkin but switched last min. (Unfortunately) to get all my coffees here because I had just received a bday coupon. I didn't realize they closed at 8pm(never saw that before @SB). Drove up to window at 823pm & waited 6-7 mins, thinking they were busy cleaning up & didn't see me. All lights were on, and 4 other cars were in the lot, with several people inside, along with the workers too. [It very much appeared open.] Had no idea they were closed. Finally decided to park & go in, but door was locked. I looked & realized they'd closed & as I read the sign, everyone inside turned to me , stopped & just glared. Is there a reason to be so inappropriately immature & sad that you do this at a coffee shop job? I'm confused. I'm hoping the company sees this, hence the lengthy novelette of a "review". I would've never mentioned the 1st 2 mishaps but after the other night, I'm now gladly here to point out another reason why this specific store will never turn much...
Read moreThis review is to make the personnel aware of their behavior and maybe they can educate themselves on what true customer service is. We are not the enemy. We know that dealing with customers is not an easy task. My wife and I went to purchase a Venti Ice Pecan Hot Latte through the drive thru. It tasted like pure milk, if there was coffee in there, it didn't taste like it. My wife went inside the store to address the way the drink tasted. The reception was very unprofessional. She was told that she was being disruptive and disturbing the peace and was even kicked out. We are locals and have bought at this location multiple times. We are very disappointed and have begun to tell everyone not to do business there. The situation could have been handled better. We are not trouble makers. We are not looking for anything for free. I believe they could have just given her a little more coffee or offer a refund. My wife was offered more coffee but at an extra cost. What triggered the whole situation to go south really fast was the attitude of the employee. Listening and not just hearing someone speak goes a long way. Educate yourselves on the difference. Also learn to respond...
Read moreUsually, we like stopping by this location when traveling to Florida's East Coast and its become one of our favorites. But while we were stopped at the drive-thru window, we watched one of the baristas pour a 2% milk gallon into my fiancé's order that is supposed to have oatmilk (their oatmilk only comes out of box carton), then hands it directly to the other barista that was handing us our order. My fiancé is lactose intolerant, so he asked the guy handing him the drink "hey, does your oatmilk come in a box carton or gallon?" And the guy seemed confused but answered that it was a box carton, so we informed him that we watched the barista use the gallon of 2% milk in his order.
And that's perfectly okay. People make mistakes. It was a busy day.
But then, he dumped out the drink and I guess he didn't realize we could hear him tell the other barista "FYI, don't hold the gallon of milk in the area in front of the window like that next time."
Dude, what the hell? If you're low on supply of oatmilk or something, speak up so we can use another non-dairy alternative. Don't be...
