Cosmopolitan Grill — Restaurant in Saint George

We loved it and will go back again soon. I had the lobster ravioli, - DELICIOUS! My husband had the wonderful goulash. My husband's mother was from Germany, and the goulash in this restaurant was almost identical to what she used to make - very authentic! The portions were more than satisfying. Anyone confused about the portions may have been sitting in the bar, and ordering off the tapas menu, which is just finger food to go along with drinks. Anyway, it's nice having affordable standard fare like burgers, and also fine dining options. People can eat together and have a variety of choices and can either splurge on a special meal or spend a lot less on something like a club sandwich. I really love their menu choices! The atmosphere was very nice, but I took off one star because I wish the music had been at a slightly lower volume. It was NOT loud, I'm just an oddball who prefers it quieter than most people. New restaurant in town give it a try! My wife and I dined here last night. Interesting atmosphere for a world restaurant idea. 2 menus in one. One for casual dinning and the other for upscale dishes. We went for the wedge salad each and she had the burger and I the fish and chips. First the Salads were excellent. Maybe a little more dressing but it was great. Second the burger and fish and chips. Neither of us ate more than 20 percent of our plates. My wife described the burgers taste as "off". Maybe the grill had something on it who knows but it was not edible. The fish and chips were not edible at all. The fish under the breading was slimy and mushy. Not a good flavor or texture. Fry's were ok however I think the oil could be changed in the fryer maybe. Strange menu - not very well put together - no one specialty and it shows - This is a $20 dollar plate for grilled chicken and vegetable medley - maybe 3 or 4 oz of chicken tops and waited for 45 minutes for our food with only 3 or 4 tables other than us. The one star is for the one carrot on the vegetable medley plate - it was very good - don't come until they have things worked out.
