Irmita's Casita is a true gem in the Mexican cuisine scene. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the mouth-watering aroma of freshly prepared dishes that will make your taste buds tingle. While the serving sizes at Irmita's Casita may be a little smaller than what you're used to, that just means you'll have more room for dessert! Trust us, their sweet treats are worth saving room for. From their creamy flan to their decadent churros, Irmita's Casita knows how to satisfy your sweet tooth. But it's not just dessert that's worth raving about. Irmita's Casita's menu features a range of delicious and authentic Mexican dishes that will leave you feeling full and satisfied. Their tacos are a standout item on the menu, with perfectly seasoned meats and fresh toppings that will transport you straight to the streets of Mexico. And let's not forget about their margaritas! Irmita's Casita's bartenders know how to mix up a mean margarita, with just the right amount of tequila and lime to make your taste buds sing. The atmosphere at Irmita's Casita is warm and inviting, with colorful decor and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. It's the perfect spot for a casual date night or a fun night out with friends. While the serving sizes may be smaller, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience at Irmita's Casita is truly top-notch. So if you're looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican dining experience, be sure to give Irmita's Casita a try!

Traveling thru Utah, we've been craving Mexican food, saw the good reviews and stopped for lunch. The staff was friendly, it's kept clean but what I had I wouldn't ever get again. The chips were good but salsa had much more juice than chunks of veggies but tasted fine. Guacamole was prepared unlike any I have had before. The taste wasn't bad but it was runny, which is odd, and I love guacamole and make it all of the time; mash avocados, add lots of minced garlic, salt, chopped tomato, onion, jalapeño, a little cilantro and squeeze in some lime. The highlight was the refried beans, I'm very particular about them because my Mexican gma's were the best and if a restaurant fails at their beans as rice, epic failure. The rice was light and fluffy but could have used a little more tomato flavor. My husband had the fajitas and said they were really good. I had chicken enchiladas suizas, the chicken was a little bland but moist, didn't care for the corn tortillas being like lightly fried because the corn flavor was lost, it has too much Oaxaca cheese so it was the dominant flavor and tomatillo sauce didn't have much tomatillo flavor. I would give it another try but it doesn't matter because we don't live in Utah.

I have been visiting irmitas casita for a while, and this is my last time ...sadly because I kind of like it ,but I will proceed to explain what happened I used to take my 2 children 6 and 8 boy and girl and they used to enjoy the rice and beans And the quesadilla,i myself ordered the last time enjoyed a Carne asada, irmita's casita is a different restaurant there is no formal waiters or nobody's in uniform apparently is a family and friends that take care of it and I think the father of the household is the cook it's a completely different restaurant in every possible way More like a Mexican Fonda in every possible way are in every possible Fonda is not officially a restaurant but a place where they make food and sell it it probably wouldn't be called a restaurant neither here or in Mexico the food is average There is no great flavors or Amazing preparations just regular food that I could make at home Anyways what happened the last time after several times that I've gone and they made mistakes in the orders I ordered the Carne asada medium rare and they brought it completely cooked but since they were really busy I just ate it,I just wanted to eat with my children because we all were really hungry But at the end of the meal Italked to the lady who charges at the entrance and when I was doing my payment I let her know my dissatisfaction that I try to explain the lady who served my table but she only laughed after I explained her the meat was not in my satisfaction and casually this lady laughed too They didn't have any intention to do anything so I just paid and left but then this lady who casually looks a lot like the character sadness in the movie inside out reach me to my car when I was about to drive away and she brought some money and she told me that sadly it will be the last time that she's going to serve me that I wouldn't be served anymore they not only misserve me, but adding insult to injury, she really cool and with a smile ask me not to come back...astonishing!,And then I ask her why is that, and she said She rather prefer to ask me never come back instead of asking her employees to do the right thing, in her Mexican(note i am mexican too) reasoning She said that she rather preferred to keep her old employees other than correct the situation So I told her well I was planning nor to come back anyways, there was no barrier of language we were talking in Spanish both of us...the only barrier was the illogical or absurdiness of the situation and then again it's not a big loss for me because the food It's from average to mediocre in flavor the service is always poor and i really just go there because sadly I would explain in the pool of choices that we have about Mexican food in st george it's probably one of the best choices that you can do in Mexican food in Saint George or better said the least worst...but then again now that the lady has told me not to come back, well Good riding so long thank you so much... so sad you don't want to correct your ways, next time you want to try mexican, and if you go to irmitas ask yourself, why there is no mexican people in here? Because mexican people despise the flavor, the amount of food and the prices, and ultimately the service....and they kicked out their last loyal paisa costumer...vaya...

This was our second time visiting Irmita’s. The first time we were in St. George, we heard great things about the restaurant and decided to give it a try. It was really, really busy, and we had to wait almost an hour for a table, but the food was worth it.

This time, it wasn’t as busy, and we only waited about fifteen minutes to be seated. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When we arrived and told the hostess we had a party of eleven, she rolled her eyes, huffed in frustration, and walked away without saying anything. It was really off-putting. The person who assigned us our table was nice, but the man who took our drink order seemed annoyed the entire time. He kept rolling his eyes and looked frustrated whenever we asked about our drinks, which made us feel uncomfortable.

The menu had changed since our last visit,it had fewer dishes, the prices were shockingly high, and the portions were tiny. We specifically asked if their biggest nachos would be enough for two kids (ages five and seven) to share, and we were told that they would be. But when they arrived, they were much smaller than expected, probably fine for one person or as an appetizer, but definitely not enough to share or for an adult as an entrée. The kids were still hungry afterward. The rice also lacked flavor, and overall, the food just wasn’t as good as the first time.

The one bright spot was our server, an older gentleman, who was really nice and attentive. I really hope this was just a one-time thing and that maybe they can make some changes. We had such a great experience the first time, and I’d love to see that level of quality and...
