I was hoping to discover a charming neighborhood Mexican restaurant but my first TOGO order was a disaster. I ordered 3 meals and only got 2, and only discovered it unfortunately after driving a ways to share it with my friends. The two fish tacos were good, but there was no tartar sauce as promised. The enchilada meal was missing, and my friend who ate the carne asada "steak strips" meal got gastric pains and cramping all night and had diarrhea, nausea and dizziness all the next day. When I went back in person the next day to ask for my money back or some kind of compensation, the lady at the counter said she couldn't do anything because I didn't call right away...Things spiraled downward further as my friend and I got on the phone with the manager and told her of the bad symptoms she had and still was experiencing 2 days later after eating that meal...In summary, customer service sucks, (the tables are also dirty looking), and I wish I'd never gone there. I do know someone who goes there regularly and enjoys the bean burrito and that is originally why I wanted to try it out. BUT be advised to double check your TOGO orders before you leave, and generally be advised...I'm sorry that I cannot recommend this...
Read moreI can't believe how expensive is become to eat in here, 5 taquitos (which is basically a tortilla rolled with a little of meat in the center and deep fried) and a side of sour cream, and a side of guacamole, $15 bucks plus tax, the flavor is authentic and good but is more expensive than a full restaurant and the service is less than premium, if I have a full plate of food at don Pedro or any other sitting restaurant it will be less, the other factor is the service, I received not one smile at all, the ladies at the cashier position, the were to busy to show any hint of hospitality, in hindsight I would say they do the minimum to keep their job,in a frantic hurry to charge the next costumer, I don blame them, I don't think they get paid enough to make the extra effort, and the hours and the people become a burden to cause them look like they are angry.... Is hard for the educated costumer appreciate something like that, at this point the only thing that would make me come back is the flavor and quality of the food, which still really good .. In conclusion there is the occasional visit to a fast food location poor in service, expensive in price but with good flavor... as deterrent of wishing not...
Read morePrices on the screen menu are lower than what you get charged! Food for the most part is great, very consistent with servings and taste of food.Their salsas are the best in town. This place is better mexican food than Albertos, Alvaros and Coyote Charro by a mile. Suggestions: Paint your lobby. Fix your wobble tables instead of putting napkins to secure their balance. Clean nozzles amd drink station area daily (when nozzles are not clean daily they create an slimy substance that will go inside of someone's drink). When busy no one is cleaning the lobby... chairs and tables dirty, trashcans overflowing, trays with dirty dishes and food in a container on top of trashcan most of the time. Also... Friday and Saturday respect your own hours for dine-in service, you go in at 9pm and cashiers are telling everyone that food is for take out only, no salsa bar available either. A little reorganizing in the lobby...think of a better flow experience ( remove unnecessary things to create more room like candy and toy machines). Go visit other small restaurants to get an idea... your business has a lot of potential to be the best mexican food...
