I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Corn Dog Co., and I must say it was a huge disappointment. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this establishment was more concerned with cultivating a "bro" atmosphere than providing decent service to its customers.
The first red flag was the lackluster customer service. The employees seemed more interested in joking around and acting like a group of buddies rather than attending to the needs of paying customers. I felt completely ignored as they chatted amongst themselves, oblivious to the fact that I was waiting to place my order.
To make matters worse, when my order finally arrived, I realized that not all the food I had paid for was served. It was clear that they hadn't bothered to check the order before bringing it out. When I pointed out the missing items, instead of apologizing and rectifying the mistake, the employees ganged up on me. It was an incredibly uncomfortable situation as they defended their negligence rather than taking responsibility for their error.
Aside from the abysmal service, the food at Corn Dog Co. was average at best. The corn dogs were greasy and lacked flavor, leaving me thoroughly unimpressed. I couldn't help but compare them to the delicious options available at Costco or even a typical gas station hot dog, both of which far surpass the quality and taste of what Corn Dog Co. had to offer.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend Corn Dog Co. based on my experience. The combination of poor service, employees more interested in their own camaraderie than customer satisfaction, and mediocre food make this restaurant a complete letdown. Save yourself the trouble and opt for a reliable option like Costco or any gas station hot dog, where you're guaranteed better service and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe best corn dogs in Utah. You can view their Facebook page, to find out where they will be parked. If you like their page, they will let you know in advance where they'll be. Corn dogs range in size from regular (called the mini), to HUGE (called the epic). They also have cheese on a stick, and they will deep fry a Snicker bar for you if you're into that (get into that, they are fantastic). Prices are standard food truck prices (a meal will set you back 10 bucks). The guy who mans the truck, is friendly, and knowledgeable. They take cash, and all major credit cards. They have the standard food truck tip jar out as well. Hey, when you've paid 10 bucks for a good meal, and good conversation, what's an extra buck? I'm sure it goes to a good place, or something. Good food, and good service are hard to come by sometimes. These folks make it look easy. What are your waiting for? Find the truck, and throw...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām a big fan of this food truck, however had a disappointing experience recently. Wait time after placing my order (for three corn dogs) was over 35 minutes despite being told 7 minutes. 35 minutes!! And Iād already waited 20 minutes to place my order (despite only one person ahead of me). When I finally received my order I asked which one was the pepperjack cheese and was told, āoh, we ran out of pepperjackā. They hadnāt told me at the time of order, or even when they processed my order. A bit presumptuous of them to just assume Iād take a different flavor than the one I ordered. Lastly, I ordered a fried Milky Way. It was quite unappealing to see the employee grasp the Milky Way firmly with her bare hands while she put it on the stick. Surely there are sanitary laws stating she should wear food service gloves?! A bit horrifying to...
