I wish I could give a less than zero stars score because this place deserves absolutely no praise. I'm sorry in advance for the long review but I have a lot to say and I believe it needs to be said so people can become more aware. The most recent encounter I had was on 12/1/2017 at about 2:00 am. I drove up to the drive through and there were cars in front of me. I wasn't greeted by anyone and I decided to give the workers a minute or two. After waiting a couple minutes I started to call out by saying "Hello?" "Is anyone there?" and so on. I never got an answer so I left. I moved to Saint George, Utah in 2009 and this McDonald's is the closest one to my home. The most I've had with encounters is they always get the order wrong. Either items I paid for are missing or they get my order wrong. I like my burgers a specific way and it's not hard to make a plain burger but there's always stuff on it. I'm allergic to most fruits and vegetables so it doesn't work to have that kind of stuff on my food when I've repeatedly asked if the food has been made the way I asked. The service is always incredibly slow and the workers are always incredibly rude. But the worst offense which is the whole reason that I'm making this review is something that happened in the year 2013. I had asked my grandpa if he would go get me some food from this McDonald's and he obliged. When he got there he was mistreated when ordering and had to go inside to order because the employee in the drive through was no help. After receiving the order he asked if he could get some help carrying the food out to the car as he was 80 years old at the time and was walking with a cane. He received no help from any employee carrying the food out and luckily a good person offered him help getting to the car. As he was stepping off the curb so he could get to the car door my grandfather slipped and fell on the hard ground. He broke his neck in a few places and almost died. He spent most of the year in a rehab center recovering. Had numerous surgeries to fix his neck and until the day he died his neck always hurt him. After this event my mother and I went to this McDonald's to ask the manager for a copy of the incident report for our at home files. We found out that no one made an incident report and McDonald's was trying to make it seem like it never happened. And while we were trying to get the report the employee was rude and wanted nothing to do with us and acted like she didn't know what an incident report was. This was also a woman who knew my grandfather from the many times he had been there and she pretended like he didn't exist. So with this huge event almost killing my grandpa, the constant messed up orders, the missing items in my orders, the rude employees, and the horrible managers who don't care about the people they serve I have decided to never return to this establishment and I'm going to make people aware of how awful this building is. And I'll do what I can to see some changes there or see the establishment shut down. AVOID THIS BUILDING AT ALL COSTS AND GET YOUR FOOD LITERALLY...
Read moreWorst McDonald's ever. The entire dining area is ridiculously dirty. Do they ever clean the tables or play area? The service is horrible. The only thing good about this place is ordering from the kiosk so I don't have to talk to the incompetent staff.
I ordered from the friendly kiosk and used the transponder so I wouldn't have to wait for my order and they'd have to bring it to me. I simply ordered 2 burgers and 2 mcmuffins, something that seemingly should be a quick and easy order to put together. No. 15 minutes later and I'm having to go up to the counter to talk to someone, which I didn't want to do. I was greeted with an attitude. For heavens sake you have a damn job. Be grateful and do it right and with a good attitude or GTFO.
I was told my order was next so I sat down. 5 minutes later I hear them yelling my order number. I refused to acknowledge because I requested to have the order brought to the table. What is the point of a kiosk and transponder if they don't use it? I know I know I'm coming off entitled. My point is they advertise a fresh new storefront and experience yet deliver the same old cheap service. To boot, the order was messed up. I swear! And they want $15/hr?
I suppose if I want good service I should go to five guys I get that. Regardless of the pricing of the food an establishment that advertises one thing a delivers another is no different than a scam. This is the closest McDonald's so one is left with no choice but to...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald's I've been to. Unfortunately it is the closest one near me. Everytime I go here they are rude, the service is terrible, the food is cold or tastes like chalk. This McDonald's is the worst if you go at the end of the night. We got there at 11:30 and they kept us at the drive thru speaker for 15 minutes. We got tired of waiting and drove to the window and a woman was standing there counting the tills and wouldn't answer us. We then had to drive to the McDonald across town because they actually get stuff done. I've also have other stories from before Covid hit when they were open 24 hours. At 2am employees would smoke, joke, and throw stuff at each other in the parking lot while I waited 15 minutes for service. They never took my order. I tried calling at 11 when they closed at 12 and they told me they were closed so I didnt come. They put signs on the drive thru that say they are closed at night when they aren't and I can see several employees through the window. This place is terribly run and whoever owns it clearly has no business savy to get their unsavory employees' heads out of their behinds to run a freaking McDonald's. I'm not expecting much. Just take my order and make some fresh food. It is not that hard. I've worked food service before. Don't go here unless you are starving, but good luck because you could literally be screaming on fire and the employee in the window...
