I celebrated dia de los muertos for the first time with my family this year and we needed to get some pan muerto to compliment the atole we made. This place was beyond helpful, not only were they able to accommodate me on such short notice on the day of the dead, they were super friendly, warm and welcoming! They made me feel like I was part of the family, it's never the same whenever I go to other bakeries, the hospitality is unlike anywhere else from my experience in Mexican owned businesses or indigenous owned businesses. I love getting their Flan...mmmm so good, the one in the cup has a thick caramel at the bottom and the texture is more like pudding. The slice has the caramel juice and is firmer less sweet. Empanadas are good, flavors we have tried - guava, pineapple and the cheese empanadas. Best way we found to eat the empanadas, if you have an oven bake them for 10 - 15 min on 350°. Absolutely fantastic bakery. We tried so many things and they were all so good. The Jalapeño Cream Cheese Bolillo was probably our favorite if we had to pick. They are also so nice and had the best customer service.
