I know this place is still new and getting everything lined out. But their staff was truly a bunch of young 20 somethings that wanted to chit chat to each other loudly in the corner. We were not checked regularly to have drinks refilled or to see how our food tasted. When noticing an odd charge on the bill, the waitress got very defensive about it, rather than being polite and saying what it was or that it would be taken care of. Most people at my party said the food was decent. I had the jalepeno popper grilled cheese. It wasn't even edible. The cheese wasn't melted. The part that was supposed to be the jalepeno popper was just cream cheese with sliced jalepenos on it... needless to say, I didn't eat it and was very disappointed. I'm hoping that over time, it will improve. I'm willing to update my review if warranted.

Staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! We enjoyed the chips & salsa while our food was being prepared, it had great flavor. I had the Tacos Al Pastor, which were fantastic, and my wife had the spicy shrimp bowl, both were delicious! The Salty Steer is a great addition to the downtown restaurant options, will definitely be going back.

decent food. I had the quesadilla burger. I asked for medium it was well done. Why ask if your going to over cook it. This was during the middle of the afternoon so I didn't expect anything amazing. I wouldn't go out of my way to find this place. Decent if your in the area.

Group of 5 and brought nieces baby with, seated quickly server was very outgoing and engaging. Chips and salsa were good and refilled a few times, just missed HappyHour but had a Marg even tho, good average not real strong but decent, Niece had Pollo Loco chicken in cheese sauce pretty tasty def cheesy, SIL got steak fajitas cooked well and tasty not chewy we all tried each other’s plates as it’s a newer place. Wife and BIL got House Burrito which is Huge and lotsa rice and the pork was really good. I asked which the cooks recommended Chile Verde or Chile Colorado and which was spicier. They recommended the Colorado which was indeed spicy I got the steak version. Hostess in training knew my niece and held her baby while she ate a bit! We really enjoyed the meal and will return, the Colorado was so good I’ll probably order it again. Once I find something I like I burn it out ha. Recommend you try, hope your...

First time here with my Fiancee sat down and our table was very uneven salsa was overly spicy, very limited menu items. After we ordered we noticed the floor was dirty and stained with grease the hand railing going up to the second floor so dirty that a white glove would be black. we ordered the steak mexicana and the steak was almost black, the rice had no flavor the peppers on top were not even done and the queso cheese had no flavor. My fiancee ordered the same thing but got the sweet tea which was not sweet at all. when asked for something to sweeten it with the waitress got rude about. We asked for to go boxes and took our streak home with us our dog refused to eat the steak. The waitress basically made fun of her by her words making fun of her weight caused her to almost tear up I had to calm her down.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
