Genuinely, the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. I ordered the seafood soup, pupu platter, donuts, general tsao's chicken, steamed dumplings, and chicken lo mein. The delivery lady was nice, but the quality of food was a potential health hazard.
Donuts: The only edible, enjoyable part of the order.
Steamed Dumplings: I liked the flavor of these, but the folded parts of the wonton wrap were hard, similar in texture to pasta that wasn't fully cooked and softened.
General Tsao's Chicken: Decent flavor with the sauce, but many pieces were possibly just breading with no chicken inside. Definitely felt reheated, and the two pieces of broccoli that came with it were a little too yellow and soggy to look entirely edible.
Chicken Lo Mein: One piece of chicken that I ate was good, but the rest were not. Overall flavor was alright. The best part of this dish was the cashews we added (for $1.00), probably because they didn't have to cook them. The chicken was loose and falling apart, the noodles were too soft and almost melted in your mouth (not a quality I look for in lo mein noodles). This one again felt reheated and poorly executed.
Seafood Soup: This genuinely resembled (in smell, texture, flavor, and appearance) dirty dishwater. The large chunks of imitation crab floating around were disintegrating in the flavorless, watery mess of random leafy vegetables and tiny mushrooms. Frankly inedible.
Pupu Platter: The best for last. First of all, the pupu platter is generally 2-3 pieces of a variety of meat and seafood appetizers. There was ONE PIECE of each item, so I'll break down the singular bites I took of each one. The crab rangoon wasn't bad, although the crispy wanton shell was anything but crispy. The skewered beef was tender and flavored well. The egg roll was bland but not unpleasant to eat. The single fried shrimp was half breading and half shrimp. The little chicken drumstick was the biggest health risk of the entire order. I took one bite and knew that there was no chance that it was not spoiled before cooking. It smelled and tasted like it had been sitting in the trash for hours, and reminded me more of rotting carcass than cuisine.
Overall, would not recommend. To anyone. For your health, please don't...
Read moreI ordered from twin dragon and the girl that delivered to me seemed to be drunk or high and scared my young daughter when she got out of the car she threw my food down to mess with a flashlight she shinned in my face I watched this and asked if she was looking for 206 and she said she didn't know and tried to go into the wrong house then came to my porch and when I got my food it was all over the bag mostly the sauce from the containers but some chicken as well. I called numerous times with no call back finally talked to someone and he completely was dismissive that there was any wrong doing he order d next time to give me crab ragoon even though I told him three times I don't need or wa nt it that I don't like crab and I don't know I would order again seeing the way they handle things so a few days later since I had the credit for the crab because I don't like it I decided to give one more chance. Again like the first time there were no chop sticks or fork which is not a big deal this time there was no white rice so I called and had to wait for the rice to get here and by that time the food was cold but I knew the way things would have went so I just dealt with it the owner of the place was very ride and dismissive and acted like he and his people did no wrong. I even told him I had pictures and I also have phone recordings. I will send them to better business breu and I will share them on my review page see that's my job I review places for work or personal I will not go back there who h is a shame because I love their food but they...
Read moreThe prices are cheap and the service is fine. They leave the pans of food sit out too long sometimes. Let them know and they'll change it out. Make sure they don't pour the old dried out food into the new food. I'm rooting on the Twin to make a roaring comeback. I went more frequently when they first opened up, but I noticed a decline in quality after awhile. I really like the Chinese noodles, I don't mean the lo mein. They've got the best Chinese noodles in town, when they do it right, hands down. I had some watered down ones there before that threw me off completely. The main thing my wife and daughter were asking me for were the noodles. Next time. Consistency is very important to customers. Now I'm craving those noodles. There's a limit on egg rolls, but they're nothing to rave about. I reckon I can't explain that one. I wonder what sort of regulars they get through there. Remember, it's a business, not a food kitchen for glutons. Raise the price, raise the quality/freshness, keep the noodles coming. Don't be afriad to tack another dollar or two on that buffet as long as it shows in the food where the money is going. Maybe pair the price/quality increase with some advertising, there's always News Press. Dust the place off and hit it with some Pledge. Make that big comeback St. Joseph is rooting for. Don't get caught up cutting corners to save money, it's already the cheapest buffet in town. Raise the...
