Ordered on-line for the first time today. I went in to pick up my order. Had difficulty getting any employees' attention as they walked by and ignored me -- this happened for 5 minutes. Finally raised my voice to get someone's attention who was walking away from me. Asked where I could get my on-line order that should have been completed 5 minutes prior. Employee said, "we haven't been working on any on-line orders because we've been busy. I'll start it right now." I finally got my order 20 min later. Why should an on-line order be given less priority than an in-person order? Why quote a time if you can't meet it? In this case I actually set the time to be 10 minutes later than the time they offered me for pick-up. I would think Crisp and Green would know how busy they'd typically be on a midday Saturday -- it's not like there was a special event in the area. During this past year with the pandemic I've gotten lots of take-out. I can't think of a single place I've visited that didn't meet or beat the time they quoted. I guess I've been spoiled. The food was good, but lots of places do good food. Obviously they don't care about on-line orders, so I will take my...
Read moreFirst of all, I have never eaten here. I have picked up many Dash orders. I am not your typical Door dasher as I am semi retired after 25 years in operation management… I will eat here one day though!! Because I sometimes have to wait for my orders, I observe. I have never seen a more well run establishment. It runs smooth as silk… The hygiene I have observed is insane. I can’t even tell you how many times they change their gloves. I think they may change them every time they make a new wrap… The manager here is superb! She gets right in there and helps her employees when it’s busy.. She’s engaging!! She is a delight! I am certain this branch runs as smooth as it does because of her. I wish I knew her name, but I don’t. It is a joy every time I come in here and the food looks incredibly fresh and delicious. The manager offered me a free drink today because I had to wait just a tiny bit for my order and the Strawberry Jalapeno drink was amazing! I cannot wait to try the food. Please go to this one because I also pick up orders at the Grand Avenue one and it is a completely different animal over there. They do not run as smoothly at this one. Five stars all the way.!!!...
Read moreI love my Crisp & Green, but this location has repeatedly been a bad experience.
Every time I go in, I end up standing there for so long, even if there’s only two customers waiting to order. One person works the counter while 3-4 others keep doing their side work, and it’s rare that someone is actually friendly—usually I feel like it’s an inconvenience I’m even there.
UPDATE: I went in again last night after a workout. I don’t know if the employee took immediate disliking to me because I had some modifications to my order, or if it was because I was in a sports bra, I don’t know. I was friendly, but she was noticeably cold and curt towards me, and then her demeanor completely changed for the next person in line. As for the expensive yet disappointing açai bowl I ordered, I asked for the bananas to be removed and replaced with extra strawberries. The sorbet was completely frozen (to the point where I had to leave it out at home for a while until I could actually eat it), and the kiwi was extremely underripe.
Also, there was one person ahead of me in line, and yet I stood there from 7:04 to 7:22. There were at least three employees, probably more....
