This place is a beautiful gem of the Twin Cities. I'm not sure if there are other locations, but I can see this being one of one. The atmosphere is peaceful even with the buzz of the crowd. During my visit that was quite busy, someone told me it gets even busier on the weekends. Plan ahead because street parking can be a bear. The surrounding area is walkable and would make it enjoyable if you have to walk a block or two. Service was fantastic, keep your ear open for your order or name, staff shout multiple times within a three minute span. You can find plenty of nooks to setup and study or work in. There's an intimate feel throughout the establishment, you can easily make new friends in a short amount of time here. I'm coming back to try the food.

I had a slice of banana bread and an iced F Scott. The coffee was good, but the banana bread was awful. There was plenty of it available, so I guess other people knew. In any case, I would return for coffee.

I had the chance to check out Nina’s Coffee in St. Paul and this spot did not disappoint. It offers a decent amount of space with plenty of solid menu options to choose from. Although I’m not a coffee drinker, I fell in love with their breakfast burrito. It was packed with flavor and came with a delicious sauce to dip it in. Honestly, this might be one of the best breakfast burritos in the city for its price. The spot can get pretty busy, especially during the morning rush, but it’s definitely worth the stop. Parking-wise, it’s mostly street parking, and I don’t believe there’s a lot nearby, so plan ahead. Overall, the vibes here are great, the service is solid, and the food is well worth it. I’ll definitely be back.

I don't think I have had a worse experience at a coffee shop in my life! When all is said and done I paid $10.75 for half of a cup of coffee that was so stale I was thinking of using it as a paint remover. The music was everything that was wrong with 1980's music and I thought it had all died-out. Well, it is here and thriving. So if you like Michael Sick Jackson and the shaker-knit-sweater bimbo music of the 1980's then the music is good. The only thing that could have been worse would have been rap or hip-hop. After a bunch of questions, I finally ordered a SANDWICH that appeared, in its description, as nothing to worry about. Apparently they think "bread" is s bunch of un-ground grain held together by something resembling bread (swallowing un-ground grain like that is actually dangerous, there is a reason humans began grinding grains. I have had to performed a number of emergency appendectomies because people ate un-ground grain and it got caught in their appendix, causing the infection). I finally left after having to hold my ears shut and my nose in order to drink that horrid excuse for coffee. Oh, and if you don't know what café stands for, don't use the word. Without the accent, as you print it, the word is meaningless and pronounced quite differently. Café, is the correct spelling and it is simply French for 'Coffee' (I know because I am part French and grew up with the language). I should have known that a place that called itself a coffee coffee must be weird at the least and un-educated and/or crazy at the worst. You can guess my opinion. . Another reviewer mentioned a girl there that knew nothing about coffee - well it is true. They just work there. This is NOT a cozy Café, it is a bustling, chain-style hang-out for 1980's beatnik wannabees. If that's you're cup of tea then go there, if not, give it a wide berth. I might add that parking is a nightmare - I wanted to know that in advance. I would have had an easier time of it if I had walked to the...

Went to order breakfast today, two breakfast sandwiches for $6.76/ea as listed on the sign. The order total though came to $15.07 with tax? After getting my receipt, I found out that they charged me $7.00 for each PLUS seeing I had a 4th item on the sandwiches, an additional $0.24/each (though the menu board clearly said that you get up to 4 items on the sandwich).

After asking for the difference back, the person working at the front counter said that they had changed the price awhile ago, and that's the new price I would have to pay. I immediately asked for a manager. The manager politely asked what I would like in return. I advised that I would like the difference back. It seemed like she had a hard time calculating what the original price would be so I figured it out for her.

Come to find out, the owners of the company do not want to spend the money to update their menu boards. I'm also a small business owner, and understand that making changes to pricing can be time consuming and costly... but in their case, they could easily put a piece of paper over the old price with the new price laid out on it.

I've been here a few times in the past, and I think the last time I went there, I had a similar issue, but that was several months ago, and don't remember the details. At this point, even though it is a very cute place, nice atmosphere, I won't go there because we don't know what we...

Do NOT spend your money at this coffee house. They're extremely racist, they are not welcoming to anyone who is not white. Myself and my Asian friend we were waiting for our other friends to arrive so that we could all be seated together. The waitress with a lot of tattoos ( I think she may be featured on their Instagram page) was very aggressive with us. She stated that we had to leave. We could not wait for our friends as they were closing. We're looking around like You're closing?

We checked the hours and they definitely weren't closing. She just didn't want us in that cafe and it was very clear. She definitely made it her business to target us directly which is sickening . We challenged her, we asked if you're closing why is everyone else sitting down, enjoying their drinks and eating cake and we're being asked to leave?

She did not answer the question. She just stared at us with the stoic face. When we asked to speak to the manager she said I am the manager and we have the right to refuse service to people.

Do not attend this racist coffee cafe. They're not friendly, nor welcoming, It's pretty sickening in this day and age that these types of establishments are even able to operate. I saw other reviews from non-white people who also had a similar experience. Be assured the staff is definitely a reflection of...
