"Spit & Snot" I was at the drive thru last night and ordered food and didn't realize I was shorted about $6 and some change when I paid with a $20, however I had the receipt with the time stamp on it and the next following day I went to the drive thru and ordered something and asked an employee on how I would go about getting my money back that they shorted me, and this time they shorted me food on my order (crunchwrap)so I decided to go in and speak with a manager. After being treated disrespected and given an attitude, I was actually given my food that I paid for however I was unable to get the refunded money for yesterday's order even with the receipt and time stamp. I was just told that there drawer came out even so I must be lying. But if I was an employee there and I counted up my drawer and it was over 6 dollars over what would I do? I would take $6 dollars out of the register because now its even no sense in giving the company more money than was expected right? Well now I just got home and I open up my crunch wrap and I have what looks like spit and some neon green snot or something, I just know its not sauce nor the ingredients that come standard in the Crunchwrap. I can't believe they would go to this limit thinking I would really try to scam them I'm just a very well mannered polite and respectable customer and just feel like I was done wrong so I wanted to get what was rightfully owed to me and they treated me like I was coming at them like I was a criminal asking $100 maybe $50 or even $20 dollars from them. I mean at this day and age I would think of all places to have security footage at the drive thru register you know so if somebody wants to come through there and rob them they would have footage of that right? Overall I just have advice to give anybody that's trying to go to Taco Bell to avoid this location because I can't believe they would go to this length thinking I was trying to scam them. All I was asking for was the money I was owed which was $6 and they didn't have to spit and put snot in my food order that they made wrong. I truthfully pray to God that nobody ever has to encounter this type of service...
Read moreTaco Bell has always had a LOT of options if you know how to order in a really detailed manner, rather than just main-menu items; it's not precisely a "secret menu," more that they have a lot of different ingredients that you can add or substitute to your preference as long as you're willing to pay the (small) costs associated with a few extra onions, tomatoes, sauces, etc - it's also not as much of an inconvenience for Taco Bell to order this way as it is at most restaurants due to how their kitchens are set up.
I bring this up because with their new, super-nice touchscreen ordering system that you can (and should) use, they've made doing this easier and faster for both you and their employees. Now when I go I can get EXACTLY what I want and I am entering it in myself so I'm not using up an employee's time with a complicated ordering situation. PLUS I can see the exact price of each ingredient as I'm adding them, so it keeps the price of my order from ballooning accidentally.
The only downside to this situation is that as far as I am aware, it's only do-able from inside the store - that's where the touchscreen menus ARE. Not any inconvenience for me since I don't drive!
It's this customization option that makes me give Taco Bell five stars in food; if you have had a mediocre experience with them before, I recommend ordering this way to get things done more how you'd like. (I like my "Cheesy Bean & Rice Burritos" with black beans instead of brown, shredded cheese, added onions, "supreme" (meaning tomatoes and sour cream), and then grilled - all of these differences and it only adds about $1.50 to each burrito for a total of $2.55 per... it's relatively healthy for fast food and it fits my budget).
I am making the review at all because the service I got at this particular location was stellar. I've started making it a stop almost every time I'm in that part of the city.
Sorry, no pictures of the food this time... Burritos don't make particularly great pictures anyhow unless you deconstruct them, so I chose to...
Read moreIt was during their busy time. I took awhile to place my order, as I haven’t had Taco Bell in the longest time. Order was on the bigger end. I ordered 2 hard shell taco supreme, 1 beefy five layer, 2 hard shell tacos, 2 soft shell tacos, 4 cheesy roll ups, 2 steak chalupas, and a chicken quesadilla. I could tell the lady who took my order was irritated. She informed me there were only two workers on the line and that it would take a while for my order to be ready. I said it was fine. As I was in no rush. When it got to my turn, I waited, no complaints. I get it. They’re busy. I get my bag, it’s sealed, all good. I leave. Assuming everything is in there. Nope. Got home, missing my beefy five layer and two soft shell tacos. I get they’re busy. I understand that. However, please just double check that you’ve gotten everything next time. I didn’t call to complain or inform them, as it’s too much work to drive back for three items. I would just appreciate it if the workers made sure to double, triple check the orders before sealing it and giving it to the customers. Especially during...
