Are tacos trucks usually this expensive here in MN? $2.99 for a street taco!? $13.99 for 3 birritas and the soup!? Way too expensive. Not even worth it to go back again. Tacos are okay. But for the prices. No way it’s worth the price. Seems like it’s going to be hard to find a quality taco truck with fair prices around here. And the other taco truck next to it is horrible. Most Americanized street tacos I’ve ever had. Red sauce taste sweet and a bit like ketchup and their asada tacos taste like they’re seasoned with taco seasoning and literally can be ate in two bites for 3.25 a piece oh and they just grazed some cilantro and onion on top. I’m from San Diego and I went to TJ my whole life growing up. This is not authentic taco truck food. Omg! Never had Birria before and Ive always wanted to try them. I just never knew where to get them. Anywho While I was doing laundry, I noticed their food truck and decided to try El Pariente for the first time. When I tell you it met my expectations and then some. Goodness!! It was nothing short of amazing. Very tasteful, hefty portions and might I add that it smelled like heaven (if heaven had a smell). Although a bit pricey, but what good food isn’t.
