PRO Nails — Local services in Saint Paul

I first experienced this nail salon when searching for a place to fix a horribly botched job from another place that wouldn't fix for me because they said they "ok". Normally I don't worry all that much about nails, but I was leaving for Mexico early the next morning. The staff at Pro Nails did their best to fix what had been done and the charge was incredibly reasonable. I recently returned to have a new set...the first set was so terrible we had to remove them and start fresh. I was so lucky to get Tony as my nail technician! He is truly an artist, and a great conversationalist! He gave me a beautiful new set gel French tip, and toes to match! The best French pedicure I have ever had...nobody ever gets this right but his work was impeccable! I can't speak for the other techs in this salon, but everyone seemed very friendly, helpful, and the salon is very clean! I will be returning, and so happy to find Tony! I am a licensed cosmetologist so I do know a little bit what to look for. Highly recommend this place...and people treat your techs with respect and tip well if they deliver great service. At the same time I was receiving my service, there was a very rude customer being very disrespectful to her tech....

March 2020-walked in & was told 25 min wait, only 2 people working, a guy & woman. The woman had a lady that was complaining about her nails & kept asking her if she knew how to do nails. The customer was obviously not happy. 2 people walked in & nobody said anything to them & they left after 15 min. I had waited over an hour patiently & asked how much longer & the lady completely ignored me & after asking her 3x she finally looks at me & shouted with attitude "sorry!" I was beyond irritated & left. The next day went to Chicago Nails & they did a great job & had great customer service. But if u go to this place, ask for Jack, he's great!

Jan 2020-Just moved to the area & was looking for a new place to get my nails done & after 3 other shops that couldn't do my nails, this one said yes! Jack greeted me at the front & seated me immediately. Had a great conversation & he did a great job! I told him I usually don't like men doing my nails due to bad experiences & he was bound to prove men can do nails! I got the cats eye polish (done w/magnet)....

Nope! went to get a color change I have acrylic nails take the color off put another on. Like I did the time before that and the time before that! Nope she buffed out my nails filled them and pulled out GEL COLORS and told me I couldn't change the color unless i went DARKER! Wait... WHAT?! I KEPT SAYING I wanted acrylic and they just would not budge! No no no you want gel its already done. Idc if it's done thats not what I WANTED DONE! . I wanted acrylic with matte topcoat! NOT GEL! These people would not budge from gel and letting me get what color I wanted! They for some reason would not do...
