Is it possible to leave less then one star? This bar has now received multiple complaints of refusing service to people who present an I.D. that is completely valid and an acceptable form of I.D. for being served alcohol. The owner stated below one of these negative reveiws that the law states that only a MN I.D. is acceptable. This couldn't be farther from the truth. A state issued nationality identification card is acceptable. Also a passport, as well as an international drivers license. If an establishment refuses service due to this reason it is descrimination based on nationality, which is very clearly against the law. I also took my brother in-law there on two separate occasions and he had a passport, as well as an international drivers license. The man at the door said we can only accept it if it is American. Do not come here!! This place and its staff are seriously racist and ignorant!! I came by at 12:30 on Sunday and they refused to let me in the door at first even though I could clearly see patrons inside! I then called and they said they were closed on the phone!!!! That’s weird, because it says you’re open until 2am online and posted on the business! I should’ve just left then, but a customer saw me standing outside and opened the door for me. I went there for a fundraiser. It was advertised to go until 8:30 and was bottomless taps which I paid for. At 8:25 I went up for my 3rd beer (only a 2 hour long fundraiser) and the bartender pointed at the clock and said sorry too late and refused to pour a last beer for me. His clock said 8:45 so was set to bar time. I live down the street and was my first time visiting. They did a great job losing a local new customer. My wife and I were discussing people we could meet up there, but now this place just upset me so I won’t be back because the bartender was more concerned about the fake bar time...
