If I could give 0 stars that’s still too much. Staff is HORRIBLE. Cancelled my order because after waiting an hour sat (Dec 23 2023) I called for an eta on my very small order and was told I should “ go deliver their @&$”?& orders so mine could get to me faster” then the jerk cancelled my order(which was actually food for my child) and kept hanging up on me when I was trying to inquire about a refund. So I went to the actual store and tried to request my money to be refunded and a MALE EMPLOYEE PHYSICALLY Assaulted ME (I’m a 5”2 female) and tried to take my personal cell phone from me because I have all his insults and the assault recorded on my phone!!! Not to mention none of them were wearing any sort of food safety gear and the place was DISGUSTING and dirty. Don’t waste your money. And I’m STILL WAITING FOR MY $33 refund. Update: I still have not heard a single thing from the “new owners” of this dumpster fire regarding their employee assaulting me. So it looks like I will now be forced to acquire legal counsel and have them take care of this issue. And for the new owners- I have everything RECORDED SO THERE IS NO SHADOW OF DOUBT THAT YOUR EMPLOYEE DID THIS. IGNORING THE CUSTOMERS THAT PAY TO EAT THE TRASH YOU CALL FOOD ONLY HURTS YOU IN THE END. I should have known I would not get any sort of response, after all you as the owner are responsible for hiring people that physically assault the customers that keep your doors open. So it looks like you are now responsible for the actions of your employees and also the consequences. You will be contacted not only by SPPD but also by my lawyers. This will not go away. It’s time to face the “new owners that have employees that hit women customers” music. I hope...
Read moreI had a coupon and decided to try carry out after a Friday night. We order a medium taco pizza over the phone. The ambiance was interesting: a large painting of horses, a single pair of wireless headphones sitting on the counter with a handmade price sticker that said $40, and a half eaten birthday cake with partially eaten slices in the kitchen/back room viewable from the pick up area. This place was either going to be an awesome dive or regrettable experience, and unfortunately for us it was the latter. The taco pizza had marinara and taco meat under the cheese. There was a separate container that had fresh lettuce, onion, tomato, black olives, salsa, and a singular tube of sour cream (which did all appear to be fresh - would’ve made a nice salad). The crust was thin and had black char on it, but was not burnt. The char appeared to transferred from the pan, likely from not washing the pan after each use. My partner and I both ate a few slices because we were very hungry, though the flavor was not good. The marinara & taco meat tasted weird together, and there was too much marinara so the toppings sort of just slid off. Even in the slices that didn’t have much of the black char, the texture of the crust was off - it a rubbery/chewy. I honestly would’ve rather had a frozen pizza or fast food burgers. We ate less than half and threw out the rest because we both had stomach aches. There are lots of pizza options in the Twin Cities, and I’d rather have just about...
Read moreUpdate: I think it's been close to a decade since I wrote the review below, and wanting pizza at about 10:30pm on a Sunday I knew everything nearby would be closed so was getting ready to run to the gas station for a frozen one when my wife said "pizza man's open". I figured it's been long enough that we could give them another shot. When I went to pull up the menu, I saw the owner response below. New ownership seems to have helped. The pizza was great, the chocolate cake was frozen but pretty good, the delivery was fast and friendly, and we're pumped to have a new late night food option. We'll be ordering again!
I ordered a pizza for delivery at 8:30 and was told 45 minutes. At 9:45 I left to drive the mile and a half to have them make it there. When I got there at 9:50 (10 minutes before they close) the doors were locked and the lights off. I called my wife to see what we should do instead of pizza, and that was when the driver showed up. I'm writing this as we wait for the pizza to reheat in the oven. I might be more inclined to forgive if the driver had at least been stoned, but she says he wasn't. He just had zero effs to give. There needs to be a zero...
