Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Saint Paul

Very poor experience. We had a couple of coupons; one specified that it was for the maplewood and white bear locations and the other was a "diary queen dollar" without locations listed. Neither were expired. We just bought a house a couple of blocks down the road so we have been receiving a bunch of local coupons and we assumed they'd be valid at the diary queen less than 1 mile away. My girlfriend and I got in line separately, so we could each use a coupon. The cashier said he could not accept either of the coupons and said he has no idea where those came from. We ordered three different blizzards total. When my girlfriend ordered a pecan turtle blizzard, we overheard a woman telling the cashier to let us know they were out of something. He did not say anything to us so we just thought we misheard, but when she got the blizzard, there was no caramel in it and was only about 2/3 full, while others seemed to be heaping. The other blizzards they gave us were two of the same thing, but were actually supposed to be two different flavors we ordered (we were picking up for a friend). We then had to wait longer for the right one, which came out melty when handed to us. So, even though we just moved in to a house within walking distance, we'll drive further to go...

I’m really disappointed with the customer service I received at this Dairy Queen location. I ordered cupcakes, and when I received them, they had barely any frosting on them. I politely asked if they could add a little more—offering to pay for the extra—but the staff grabbed them from me with an attitude and started commenting that there was already “more than enough” on them.

I tried to explain that other DQ locations I visit usually include a bit more frosting, and before I could even finish, the employee cut me off and said, “We’re not those other locations.” I reminded them there was no reason to be rude, and I asked if that meant they’re operating below standard for Dairy Queen. Shockingly, they confirmed by saying, “We do exactly what the owner tells us to do.”

I’ve never had an experience like this at any other DQ. The complete lack of professionalism and customer care was very disappointing. I won’t be returning to...

Before the new owner this place used to be good however after the switch happened the place become horrible. I use to come here all the time for reasonable priced food and would prioritize going here over nearby food places.

Now the prices are insane for a small chili dog it cost 5 bucks. it use to cost about 2 bucks until super recently. I can literally go next door to dominos and get an entire pasta bowl for 2 bucks more or go over to subway and get a 12 foot long sub for slightly more as well.

Also late last year expired chocolate ice cream was being served there for at least a week made me throw up. basically this place has gone downhill and i'd highly recommend...
