We have never been to a Freddy's and waited a couple of days before we visited for lunch. The staff was friendly and seemed to be loving working there. But that's where 5stars drop to 2stars. Got the Swiss burger on rye, and the burgers are steak and shake but flatter with holes in the Patty. The rye was just over 1/4" thick. So it was like having paper towels for bread. If I let 1 of my fingers move, my burger and onions were falling out! The burger was cut in half an still two hands to hold it together. My husband had a scaled down regular bun that was thin and flat. Fries are steak and shake fries, but with a very salty seasoning added, no mention of that on the menu, beware. Traffic flow in the small diner is terrible, sound bounces everywhere, and multiple people announced order numbers, and we couldn't hear each other talking and had to keep repeating what we said. I quickly realized this was like eating in an airport terminal while waiting for a flight. We didn't stay to try the custard because of the volume in the place. So we escaped to the peace and quiet of our vehicle. My husband normal doesn't have a problem with noise, but he was glad to be out of there. Sorry, but we won't be back or be recommending. If a manager happens to read this, the tables are packed in to tight and make it crazy impossible to walk across diner. Read moreI placed an order for delivery using the Freddy’s app. The food was never delivered. I received a text saying they were having difficulties trying to deliver it for some reason. I contacted the number the text message directed me to contact. No one would ever answer. No one would respond to texts. I called the Freddy’s store and no one would answer there. I decided to drive up to the store to find out where my order was. Not only was the manager very rude, she insisted the Freddy’s app isn’t affiliated with the store. So, she wouldn’t remake the order. I’ve had to pay for 2 orders now and will have to find out how to get refunded for the other I never received. Super disappointed in the lack of help the actual store offered. Very poor customer service.
ETA: When I asked the manager who I could contact to get refunded, she said she didn’t know. I asked if there was a corporate number or something where someone could refund me for my first order I never received totaling almost $50. She again said she didn’t know, and offered no more assistance.
In response to the owner’s reply, I filled out the form and am hopeful someone will reach out to me tomorrow.

For those whom haven't had the pleasure, this is kind of a mash-up of Steak-n-Shake with regards to the burgers & fries & Culver's on the custard. My Wife didn't really want to go but actually told me, "this was a good idea" after we finished! That's happened less than five times in 10+ years together! Couple that with fast & friendly service & Mr. Freddy, the only grade worthy is an A++!! This is one of the very few establishments where people were not only patient with us first-timers, they treated us like we were welcome there, not a bother. This would be one of two places where I would actually advocate for $15 per hour for the outstanding associates. They were that good, fast (they were calling our order number before I even finished filling our drinks!) & courteous! I have to conclude with the one gratuitous downside & that would be the prices. Although the burgers were excellent, $7+ for just a burger is a bit steep for those of us with limited disposable income.
