Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Saint Peters

I had a very poor experience at the Mid Rivers Jimmy Johns location tonight. I've eaten at this location a dozen or so times in the last year without incident, but not tonight. I first want to start off saying that I order the same sandwich every time I eat at this Jimmy Jonhs. If you go through the drive thru at this location, in the top left hand corner of the menu, there is an advertisement with a picture of a sandwich that reads "try the JJ Original on French." EVERY TIME I visit this location I ask for the JJ Original on French. Tonight my wife and I drove through the drive thru. She ordered a turkey tom with jalapeno chips and a Sprite. I asked for the JJ Original with regular chips and a diet coke. A male voice responded "I don't know what that is, you need to tell me what number sandwich you want." Now keep in mind, I have been to this location numerous times during the year and always ordered the same exact thing... a JJ Original original with chips and a drink. This has never been an issue before. I responded back that I did not know what he means. I again said I want the JJ Original on French. This time a female voice comes on and in a condescending voice responds "sir there is no sandwich called the JJ Original." I said "yes there is, its right there on your drive thru menu, on the top left hand corner it straight up says try the JJ Original on french." The female came on and told me to order a sandwich that has a number next to it. She said I must be trying to order a #5. With multiple cars waiting behind me and being in no mood to argue I accepted that it must be the sandwich I wanted and was asked to pull forward. When the female came to the window I handed her my card and again reiterated that I've ordered that sandwich the same way multiple times and never had any issues. She took my card, rolled her eyes, and told me that she will give me a menu so that I'm not confused next time. When she hands me the menu I look down and see that the #1 Pepe is labeled (the original). At this point I'm too frustrated to even point this out and just want my food. When she returns she hands me my bag of food and tells me to have a good night. I sat in my car and waited for her to come back. When she did she opened the window and said "what now?" I told her she forgot to give me my drinks and chips. She comes back and gives me one drink and one bag of chips and again closes the window. I again wait for her to come back and when she does I tell her that she forgot my drink and my chips. She looked at her screen and said that she forgot to add my chips and drink and asked for my card back again. I ALMOST gave her my food back and asked for a refund. I was that frustrated at that point. I drove home upset and felt like I was treated bad for no reason. I love JJ subs; however I will not be going back to...

Boy is this place GREAT(yes, I have to put it in caps to emphasize how much I love it). I come here a lot, and when I say a lot I mean A LOT. The customer service here is amazing. The staff is by far the best I have ever had to deal with at any other jimmy Jones in my area. I sometimes have to come through drive through or inside and no matter what I am welcomed with smiles and “hello sir’s”. Not only is this Jimmy Jones is not only the first one I ever went to but the one I will go to for probably the rest of my life (unless I move away, but I will cross that bridge when I get to it) There has been a time or two when something has happened and something was wronged. But in all honestly no place can claim that this hasn’t happened. When I called both times to this JJ’s I was not only sincerely apologized too but also assured that it will be watched closer next time so it doesn’t happen again and sure enough the same mistake Has not been made twice. (Both of the mistakes were different and both were very small, I am a little nitpicky) The managers of this place are pretty good. One time I came inside and the manager named kyle was there and took my order. We chatted a little and we laugh a bit as he made my sandwich. Super friendly dude. At this point we usually say hi when we see each other. That dude is truly awesome. The other manager, I believe her name was Corrina, was also a great help as she was one of the managers when I called about my trouble. I cannot stress how much I love this place. If I would have to recommend it to everyone, I gladly would. This place is truly a 12/10 or in google...

Usually I enjoy this location, but today not so much. I asked for no cheese (dietary reasons) and got cheese, I didn't notice until I ate half the sandwich, so now I'm dealing with throat problems. The sandwich tasted fine, but there was no lettuce on half of it and hardly any meat on the sandwich, which is not like this location to do that at all, especially when people pay $10 for a sandwich here. The workers were nice as usual, kind of slow for how they usually are which isn't a huge deal. I would have rather gone to subway for the toppings if I wasn't so nauseated by the bread smell (I worked there a long time ago).
