Mascots — Restaurant in Saint Peters

**UPDATE: The store owner has responded to this review asking for in depth information into the matter. It's not that deep. There's not much more information that needs to be provided.

Coming from a place as a Business major, it would be in your best interest to provide your customers with some type of contact information, if you want "specific" details.

I believe you use this as a tactic to discredit your bad reviews, knowing that there is no "reply" or "respond" option. Well, unfortunately enough for you, I will respond.**

I came in here as a customer, but after the way I was treated while dashing and trying to pick up an order for THEIR customer, I won't be again.

I was a customer before I walked in as a Dasher, and I do it for fun to help people out because I'm fortunate enough to have an amazing job in IT.

I was told to "unassign* my order because she forgot to put in the order. Mind you, I had just picked up an order at the Mexican place next door for another customer, and their food was sitting in my car. They made me wait 30+ minutes for an order that only should have taken 5 minutes tops. They intentionally kept delaying my order so that I couldn't get out the door.

Keep in mind, Mascots. You are only hurting yourself. I can text the customer and explain what's going on, but in the end, the finger will always be pointed at you for your lack or service to your customers. Let's be better and treat everyone, including dashers, with some respect. Their orders should be ready for them when they walk in those doors, no exception. If you need to hire someone to only accept delivery...

I have to leave a review after our dinner here tonight. My son had a sporting event at the rec plex next door and we were looking for a close place to get some dinner before heading home. I looked up the reviews for Mascots and saw all of the wonderful things so we decided to give it a shot. We sat ourselves in a booth and a waitress was over to get our drink order right away. She was very attentive and refilled our drinks as needed. For our food, it was a HOT MESS. for our party of 4, we ordered chicken strips (they arrived extremely overcooked and dry, they were almost BLACK), pulled pork nachos (all bbq sauce and peppers, not much of anything else), a pulled chicken sandwich (so very dry and lukewarm when I took my first bite), and a teriyaki steak sandwich (lukewarm and the bread was tough and chewy.) This place is getting great reviews for their food, but the food we had tonight was just plain AWFUL. The server was wonderful and attentive, which is why I am giving 2 stars, but we will not be back. I wish we would have went to Jimmy Johns next door instead, it would have tasted better and cost 1/3 of what our bill was....

Terrible service went in on Saturday early in afternoon bused our own tables went back later in evening they had no food service available. Chair fell over on husband and the came and kicked him out. Then when sister was talking to them about it they kicked her out. Will never go back to this place and don't recommend to anyone

In response to what owner replied. No chair was ever thrown and to state that is an out right lie. No one was harassing the waitresses. One thing was said about the food and then was done. Apparently if your not a regular here they don’t want you here. Also they are stating fryer is on for appetizers and we were told you could not order anything that whole kitchen was closed. They blew the whole situation out of pro-portion and then stating lies about chairs thrown. Would never recommend to anyone. Worse place I’ve ever been. I have 16 people to confirm...
