Let me start by saying the service was really good I want say it was the fastest but they were definitely nice and says the girl at the window apologize for the longer than normal weight but it was because they only had three people working that night. She was super nice and extremely friendly. Now on to the actual review.
McDonald's has always been a go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal, but what do you do when the line is wrapped around the building, and you're not sure if it's worth the wait? Well, let me tell you about my experience with the McDonald's mobile app.
As I pulled up to the crowded drive-thru, I remembered that I had the McDonald's app downloaded on my phone and that I occasionally saw great deals on it. So, while waiting in line, I decided to give it a try, and boy, was I impressed!
Ordering through the app was incredibly easy, and I was able to save a whopping $8 on my order, all while getting a little more food than we had initially planned. Plus, using the app allowed me to avoid the stress of yelling back and forth with my kids to figure out what they wanted to eat.
When it was our turn to order, all I had to do was give them the four-letter code from the app, and they knew exactly what we wanted. And to top it off, using Google Pay to pay for our order was a breeze, and I didn't have to worry about inputting my credit card information.
While I'm not sure if using the app saved us time in the long run, I plan to use it ahead of time going forward, so our food will be ready when we arrive. I might even try using curbside pickup, which seems like a convenient option that could help me avoid any wait times altogether.
Now, let's talk about the McDonald's crispy chicken sandwich. Through the app's deals, I was able to give it a try, and unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it whatsoever. However, the app's many other offerings, including classic items like the Big Mac and McNuggets, are always a reliable choice for a delicious meal.
In conclusion, using the McDonald's mobile app was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend giving it a try. You never know what deals you'll find or how much stress it can alleviate...
Read moreI placed a mobile order, paid for the order, went through the drive thru to pick up said order and they lost it. Was asked for a receipt. Explained it was a mobile order and was asked to read off my order. Which I did. Was given the order and was missing sauce and fries. I sent my older kids in because my younger 2 were in the car. They were then ignored for over 5 minutes then was told we couldn’t get the fries we were missing because we didn’t have the receipt. I then pulled up my order on my app again and sent them in to show them. They were being ignored again, I was sitting in the pick up spot and 2 employees came out to smoke cigarettes. The older male laughed and said “they are still standing there” so then I went inside. The person who I read my order off to twice again says I need a receipt. For a small and medium fry. That’s it!! I got extremely upset due to the attitude I was getting and argued with the girl working the drive thru. Bree heard the commotion and ran up to the front, asked me what the problem was, listened and gave me my food. She remembered my name from my order and looked up my receipt. It was that easy. The rest of the staff that were there today are extremely disappointing. Bree deserves a promotion and a raise for dealing with that. It could have easily been handled but they wanted to be rude to kids then argue instead of just giving us the fries that I PAID for. I wasn’t even asking for a refund. This was ridiculous. One hundred percent the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Mcdonalds before. Both girls working the drive thru (both blonde, one pregnant and smoking a cigarette outside with the older male who worked in the kitchen and was also the one to laugh and make a comment about how long it was taking) should be fired. I absolutely should have gotten a refund but I just wanted the food I paid for. Again, Bree was phenomenal. The...
Read moreThe McDonald’s in Greenville isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a live-action documentary about humanity that somehow never made it to Netflix.
You walk in and immediately realize you’ve entered a social ecosystem where time has no meaning. There’s a man in line wearing pajama pants with wolves on them, holding a single car key and the weight of unspoken stories. In the corner, a group of retirees are deep in what appears to be a three-hour symposium on local bridge repair, interrupted only by refill trips and heated debates about whether “those aren’t real French fries anymore.”
There’s always one teenager who’s supposed to be working but is instead leaning against the counter like they’re in a music video called Fries and Broken Dreams. Somewhere, a toddler is absolutely feral—just sprinting full tilt with a Happy Meal toy that will be broken before the family hits the parking lot.
And then there’s the drive-thru crowd. Watching them through the window is like viewing an aquarium of impatience: one guy arguing with an invisible passenger, one lady holding her phone up like she’s filming a hostage video, and a college kid counting coins with the intensity of a blackjack dealer.
Every five minutes someone new walks in, looks around like they’ve just spotted a UFO, and says something like, “You got any McRibs left?” before vanishing into legend.
Honestly, I’d pay admission for this experience. Forget the food—this is the best free entertainment in town. Five stars. Would...
