Had a couple of really bad experiences with service at this Red Robin location. My wife and I are older and due to dietary restrictions going out a getting a burger at Red Robin is a treat for us. The waiter arrived at our table fairly promptly and our order arrived fresh and hot, the fries ( my favorite ) being excellent, crispy and hot. The waiter returned once more refreshing my soft drink, after that we never saw him again. We ate our burgers and fries and then sat there for 15 - 20 minutes looking for the server to ask for more fries and were going to order a bit of dessert. We felt like we had suddenly become invisible. My wife left the table for a bit and I gathered the serving dishes and utensils together and piled everything up on the table and stood up. Finally the manager walked over and asked if we were looking for our server. Needless to say I wasn't exactly happy by this time. What had started as an evening for a small treat, ended as a miserable experience. This was the second time that something like this has happened to my wife and I at this location. It will be the last! As much as I like Red Robin burgers they will no longer receive my business. The other closest location is too far of a drive just to get a burger. I do need to add that the manager did cancel the meal ticket and apologized, but the damage has been done. Having this happen twice is the clincher, no reason to go for the third time. I have a small business and usually purchase a couple of hundred dollars in Red Robin gift certificates as stocking stuffers for employees during Christmas every year. The last time I ordered, the online ordering wasn't working, so I called into the store, explained the situation, amd asked to place my order over the phone. The girl said yes, took my order, did not give me a total, said it would be ready in 20 minutes, and hung up. When I arrived, that same girl locked the front door, at 7:45, with a full dining room, telling me they didn't have my order. I asked to speak to someone else, and when they got on the phone, they let me inside, and started making my order. The girl in the phone never even took my order, because she thought she would be gone before I got there, bit her ride was late. This time, I ordered online. I arrived, parked in a curbside pick up spot, waited for the text saying my food was ready, then called in to let them know I was there, and what spot I was in. They said it would he right out. 15 minutes later, I got tired of waiting, went inside, to find my food had been sitting on the counter, for 15 minutes, getting cold. I had to interrupt the employees conversation to ask why my food was left on the counter, getting cold, even after I called in to tell them what space I was in. The only response I got was "I wasn't the one who answered the phone." No I'm sorry, no can I remake that for you, nothing. I could tell more stories, bit I'm tired of typing. The only reason I go there, is it is close to my house, and my son likes red robin. But it is always a horrible experience, everytime I order carryout, and it never gets better. Read moreGreat waitress! The manager didn't act much like one. Wrong and missing order items, told the fries I ordered with my burger were coming multiple times and ended up eating my cold burger. They finally brought the right fries when we were leaving, 30 minutes later. The manager said he would remove an item off the bill and didn't. The discount on my check was the RR reward I earned. Thanks for that! I felt terrible bothering the busy waitress but we didn't get what we ordered. Am I supposed to pay nearly $20 each meal for half of the things that come with the meal? The forgotten queso fondue came out cold. Like cheese out of a jar cold. The waitress sent it back to heat it up. Waitress did everything she could to help or make things right but she could only do so much with no help from her manager. I watched her go to him while he was cooking and he didn't appear to even respond. Manager did not seem to care at all. I understand they were short staffed, but MR. MANAGER, don't take that out on your employees who actually showed up for their shift and definitely not on your paying customers. I was not rude to the waitress and tried to be understanding, but when a bill is over $50 for two people and everything went wrong and we're forced to eat cold food, that's not right.
