Alright, so we've been coming here for years. Recently they remodeled, and hired a bunch of new employees. Previously, there was always somewhere to sit comfortably, and no problems with the staff. Now the seating is limited and the staff are so over-programmed, I'm not sure if they ever have any real human interaction.
To top it off, my family routinely purchases kids meals (we're all adults) because, let's face it: Penn Station is NOT healthy, and while it's fine to indulge every once in a while, devouring 1,000+ calories in one sitting isn't exactly a good idea for the average person.
So, before all of these new "updates," the employees had been nice enough to provide us with larger cups. Apparently though, that's a problem. The cashier seemed completely flustered by our usual request and involved management to deny it. Okay, so whatever, we got used to special treatment--maybe I'm just acting spoiled.
However, that was before they brought out out sandwiches with a serving of about twelve fries.
Twelve. Fries.
What kid that grows up in American culture only eats twelve fries? The food was skeet, the beverage cup was skeet, and the seating was skeet.

Read moreI did an online order for my lunch to help speed up my day. I placed my order at 12:28 and the app and my confirmation email said my order would be ready 12:40. I arrived at the Mid Rivers location at 12:34. And sat in my car for a few minutes before I went into pick up my food. At 12:38, I got in the check out lane where the phone in order sign was located to pick up my order. After the cashier called the 2 people behind me to pay for their food, I signed for my order at 12:43. I then stood there and waited. After about 5 minutes I asked about my order and the girl finishing the order said she hadn’t seen my sandwich yet. Mind you that the order was supposed to be ready at 12:40 and it was now 12:48. So then at 12:51 the girl comes up with my food and hands it to me. I asked to speak with the manager because I had been waiting so long. I placed the order at 12:28 and it was now 12:51 almost 25 minutes later. The manager apologized and then walked away. That’s it! So when I got home, I sat down to eat my sandwich and about half way through, there was a hair in my food. I couldn’t even finish my lunch. Poor service and...
Read moreFirst of all the place was dirty, no one was in the place but me, saw three employees, two were on looking at a device! (So lucky to get paid while on your device) if it was my store, I would NOT pay people to be on their phone! But to be far, its everywhere, employees on the phone while clocked in! Especially, when they could be making sure the place was spotless! The lemonade tasted like sugar water, no lemon flavor at all, disgusting, fries were nice and crispy, with no salt, pepper, tasteless, the philly cheese steak, since when did you add pizza sause! It ruined it!!! $18.00 wasted!! On a tasteless lunch. The worse! You need to get employees that care about the business, have a sense of pride about what they are sending out to the paying consumer! Penn Station used to be delicious, had a quality product !!! Please dont ask what store, so you can tell the owner. ALL THE OWNERS NEED TO GO INTO HIS / HER STORE, AND SEE WHATS GOING ON! It would also help if you have a personality, friendliness when working with the public, it...
