This place used to be my favorite. I can in at least once a week and got the same thing almost everytime. Typically I pay with cash when I get there but today I figured why not just pre pay online to make a quicker transaction? I put my info in I press order the payment goes through, I get not 1 but 2 notifications from my bank that $21.82 has been withdrawn from china wok St. Peter’s. Great right? No. I get a confirmation text and number from the website Ive always ordered with them on. Perfect I’m $21.81 broker and my food will be ready at 8:21. I pull up to the restaurant. When I ask for my order she grabs the ticket that got sent through. And keeps saying the payment was canceled and never came through… hmm ok well that can’t be true. I can show you here everything is checking out and a okay on my end, I have no notification of a declined or reversed/cancelled payment. Show her both they’re site, and my bank account there’s was plenty of money to place the order and the money is no longer mine it was sent to them. She kept saying insufficient funds. How could a card decline after the money is already gone and been paid. Maybe they were trying to overcharge my card? Idk but the whole situation was frustrating. Like I said I’m was a loyal customer tipped well, caused no issues ever even when I was served 1 star food, to be told there nothing I can do about $21.82 mysteriously being charged out of my account but not showing on they’re end, no option to refund, heck… just give me the food! after a year and hundreds of dollars later you would think I’m good for it…. Anyways ruined my night not satisfied and went to bed starving when all I wanted was my favorite Chinese food place to end a terrible day. You lost a customer...
Read moreCustomer service is awful. I work as a delivery driver and in the rare circumstance in which I had to place the order on the customers behalf, the short interaction I had with the employee that answered the phone. They answered sounding very annoyed, When I asked to place an order for pick up they simply remained silent so I said when ever you are ready just let me know. They then rudely said "well what do you want" so I continued to place the order once completed they did not provide a total they simply said 30 minutes then proceeded to hangup on me while audibly complaining to a co-worker about the delivery service that I never said I was with. When I arrived to pay they continued to be rude and forcefully pulled my debit card from my hand. Not really sure what their issue is but it's incredibly unprofessional and reflects poorly on their business. As a small piece of feedback... Do not forget that drivers are potential customers as well and in this case is operating as the customer so this leads me to believe this is just how they treat people. I will now never be a customer and will no longer take...
Read moreFood was great! Reasons it was three, not five stars. First, the owners apparantly DO NOT care about their employees or their customers. We are from out of town and chose this establishment as the place for Chinese because of the high ratings and it was close. We walked in and it was FREEZING COLD inside. Obviously being from out of town, we had no other logical option but to eat inside. The only heater was a little one that didn't do much. I was wondering if the heater went out and after asking I was told no it wasnt that it was out, but that the owners didnt care about having heat in the resturant so there is not any heat. Second, the choice of having an open window to see the food cooking is a good choice if it was more organized and clean in the back area. For resturant standards I reckon it was ok but I found it very grimy and need of major organization and cleaning. Apparantly though the owners are very greedy and dont care about their business...
