🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 "If I could marry sushi, I’d be Casa Nori's loyal spouse forever."
First of all, let’s get something straight—Casa Nori isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a sushi temple disguised as a Japanese-Mexican fusion lounge, where rolls are rolled with love, poke bowls are built like edible art installations, and you leave asking yourself, “Did I just achieve spiritual enlightenment via raw fish?”
Let’s start with the Tuna Poke Bowl. It wasn’t just a poke bowl—it was a poke BLESSING. The tuna was so fresh I half expected it to swim off my plate. There was enough avocado in there to make a millennial weep. The textures? Crunchy tempura, smooth mango, tender tuna... it was like a jazz band of flavor playing a love song in my mouth.
And then—dear reader—came the Papasito Roll. Let me tell you, it’s called Papasito because it’s the daddy of all sushi rolls. Shrimp, tempura, cream cheese, asparagus, topped with baked salmon, jalapeños, masago, green onions, spicy mayo AND eel sauce?! I blacked out halfway through and came to with a single tear in my eye and soy sauce on my shirt.
The drinks? I got the Shiso Sunset, which tastes like a grapefruit vacation for your taste buds, and I don't even like sunsets or grapefruit. Honestly, the whole cocktail menu reads like a botanical garden went to bartending school.
And the vibe? Think upscale Tokyo lounge meets trendy Tulum cantina. It’s moody, romantic, and just bougie enough to make you think about refinancing your car for more sushi.
Casa Nori, if you're reading this—thank you for existing. I’ll be back every week until I turn into a spicy tuna roll and have to be served to someone else.
10/10. Would get soy sauce on my...
Read moreTonight was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. Not only were the prices outrageous, but the restaurant added a 22% large party charge without informing me. We had four kids and my husband, yet no one mentioned an automatic gratuity or any additional fees when we ordered. That alone is unacceptable.
The food itself was extremely disappointing. Out of everything we ordered, the only thing we were satisfied with was the Kani salad. Everything else lacked flavor, and we waited over an hour while being the only customers in the restaurant just to receive burnt tempura shrimp. The quality did not match the price at all.
To make matters worse, when I attempted to speak with the manager, he was too busy arguing with the bartender at the front to even acknowledge our concerns. The service was unprofessional and dismissive from start to finish.
I wrote clearly on my receipt that I am not agreeing to be charged anything beyond $97.44, because the additional charges were never disclosed and the overall experience was unacceptable. Nothing we ordered aside from the Koni salad was good, and we absolutely did not receive service that justified any extra fees.
Tonight’s visit was extremely disappointing, and I hope management takes this...
Read moreWe found this place by chance while walking, and it turned out to be one of those unexpected gems. The cozy vibe and beautiful style caught our eye, so we decided to step in. From the moment we walked through the door, Marisol welcomed us with genuine kindness. We told her we wanted a dessert to sing Happy Birthday to my sister, and she and her team made that small moment feel truly special. We tried the crème brûlée and the flan—both were absolutely delicious, the perfect balance between homemade comfort and refined flavor. You could feel the love in every detail. We left with full hearts and the feeling that we’d experienced something more than...
