
Beautiful place, unsettling location. We arrived to the park and was and instantly impressed. it was not until we actually got into the park that we were warned of the pending danger behind us in the community adjacent to the park. The warning came from other skaters in the park who experienced and witnessed crime there. Be mindful of your belongings, from what I'm told things that are lying around disappear, and was told that things in one's hands were simply ripped out of their possession. I don't typically post hearsay, but as we were leaving we were victims ourselves to some hate rhetoric coming from one of the residents. I'm not posting to say don't go, I'm posting to say be careful as there are some community residents that have businesses and this park helps as well as it is probably the best skatepark...

I've met long time skaters here visiting from other states and every one of them has said this is the nicest park they've ever been to. Extremely smooth concrete, no entry fee, no helmet rules. Obstacles of all types for everyone. Massive street course, amazing snake run, two bowls one of which is an absolute unit. Tons of obstacles including: six stair, manual pad, wall, quarter pipes, several half pipes of varying width, tons of handrails, bumps, spikes, ramps, 3 bowls, one smaller, bigger, and MONSTER. Tons of friendly skaters to help some of the newbies out. They don’t have any wax or skate tools but they do have a bathroom and water fountain. BMX and scooterers are welcome. Please when you go, be careful especially in the late hours when there’s more people....
